Give order humans a good tank class, like a Knight or anything, and ill switch to order in a heartbeat.

I'm not sure I follow.  Do you not like the Swordmaster and Ironbreaker because of their looks, or the way the classes play?

If it's because of the looks, then I would agree, Chosen is way cooler looking.

If it's because of gameplay reasons though you will be in for a rude awakening once you hit the end game.  Chosen are the weakest tanks and, in my opinion, the most annoying to play.  To even be almost as effective as an IB you have to twist your auras.   Meaning constantly running more than one aura so that they overlap.  It's very annoying and definitely not straight foward.

If you don't do this, though, you are basically gimping yourself.  Ironbreakers are the most straight foward tank.  All you do is attack, build grudge, then use grudge depenant abilities.  No tricks, or combos to do.

"Do upon those that do upon you, but never do upon others you dont want done upon you."

This will work till A) the number of servers keeps going up till the number of players wanting to play order runs out and you end up with a bunch of servers with mostly destruction or B) you stand in a queue half the evening because destro has too many players. C) are forced to reroll Order to play even though you wanted to play Destro

Ok, this is a nice list of ideas, but C will never happen. If you know anything about WarHammer, they cant force people to play a certain side. The balance will be there, if you havent done so, yet, please, make a order tank and see for youself.  Reading from a list of what it does, doesnt give that side justice, you really dont know what they have till you play to level 10 and see.  And tanks on Destruction are very weak. My level 10 Shadow Warrior was striking down a Level 11 Chosen with ease. It all comes down to game play and knowing your classes. If you dont know order classes, then shut up and play one. I have done each class to atleast level 5. I got a level 11 Shadow Warrior with level 10 renown and a level 10 Chosen with a level 9 renown. I leveled the Shadow Warroir quicker then I did the Chosen. Plus, the Order side gets alot of nice buffs for getting kills or healing etc. Chaos lacks this. And if my WarHammer knowledge isnt off, the Chaos outnumber the Order anyways.

Honesty is the best policy, but insanity is a better defense.

My first two characters were destruction, but then when I have noticed how outnumbered order was, I have rerolled order. Now I get into scenarios within 60sec of when I queue, battlefield objectives are often capped by the other side so there is always something to do in RvR. Do we get rolled over? Sometimes, but it is fun, and there is a sense of unity and close cooperation among the underdogs. I have also spoken with many of the people I have met and many of them did exactly the same thing, rerolled to the underpowered side and never looked back, I guess some of us prefer being the underdogs.

After a while people will be leaving the Order servers in droves. They will be replaced by pockets of hardcore RvR guilds. These guilds will have success here and there, but they can't do it alone. They'll soon lash out against their own realm mates in frustration, eventually they'll get tired of the zerg then simply leave the game. Out numbered in every RvR battle, and bowed by constant defeat the Order realm will simply go into a cocoon and spend all its time focusing on PvE to "gear up". Sure they'll sally out for a battle here and there but the zeal is gone and they won't do it often enough to keep RvR starved Destro players entertained. As the result RvR will suffer leading to boredom on both sides, this is when you will see an exodus of bored Destro players leaving the game.

Soon the pop on both realms will be low, and then, ONLY then will the server pop will finally be balanced. The problem is by now the realms will feel like a ghost town because everyone other than the most ardent WAR fan have already left.

Is this what happened in DAoC and it will certainly happen in WAR too. If Mythic could not figure out how to counter this trend in DAoC then I doubt they'll be able to do so in WAR.

Thats what I see too.

Don''t reply to me or quote me if you can''t do so without breaking Forum TOS cause I will report you!

I'll be playing Order no matter what the population imbalance is. Just means leveling and ranking will come that much easier for me.

Thanks Destruction fans!!

From what I have seen so far Destruction seems to be the preferred side for about 70% of players. I keep hearing that the classes are just more fun to play, more diversified.

I know nothing about keeping game balance or game design but here is my 2 cent proposed solution: Players wanted an attractive pure healer type for the Order side and didn't get it. Give them what they wanted. A powerful stand back and keep the troops up healer with some ability to take damage for a bit, a shield or something. Order may always be outnumbered in RVR but if they have a "holy" class that Destruction does not have it may bring a few over to Order, and if not it will help keep the outnumbered Order players up a tiny bit longer. Please Please Please do this : ) I am NOT enjoying being a dwarf healer/paladin. I miss the all out healing power of a pure priest meant to be a glass cannon but tremendously helpful with a good protective tank. This game is made up in such a way that it IS possible to level a class that is very dependent on groups so take advantage of that.

the runepriest can pretty much be a pure healer that stands back and does nothing but heal.

Its a character concept issue for me, in all my mmo's I play a human or the closest I can get to one, and almost always a tank like a warrior/berserker/knight.

While I don't mind elves to much in WAR, the swordmaster concept bothers me greatly, the idea of dancing around in a fight is just not tank material to me. Ironbreakers class is pretty good, however I simply refuse to play a dwarf.

Chosen fit the bill pretty good as far as a tank, I don't like their aura's either because I want to play a completely melee based class, and not be imbueing my strikes with magic and such, but it was the only thing that fit my desires.
