Age of Conan

 I think, contrary to some notions out there, Age of Conan is meant for kids: Boobs, gore, no substance, flashy graphics.  

Good thing most game distributors don't take that ratings thing seriously when selling their products.

Agreed, what a lame first post by me, i have had this account since 2004 and today decided i should activate it lol, quiet sad. but yes i was looking for a good thread to put my first post on.

Does Walmart carry AOC?  I know they sometimes have a problem with 'hahamature' games.  I have a Best Buy about 1/4 mile from my house so never check the walmart computer section.

I do think though that as soon as a game adverstises Boobs, they clearly are pandering to the teen boy demographic.   It's not that having partial nudity is bad... its the point of where they focus their advertising... they could have very well used that time to talk about something substantial about their game.

I think the War bashing is what happens with every game.   There are a ton of people on every forum bashing every other game that is out there. (with exception of the flawless HKO).

Actually I was just at Walmart yesterday n yes, they had a stack of AoC, both the regular edition n the supposed sold out CE. I have been to 3 different Walmarts since the release of AoC n they all carry the game. So I doubt that 'M' rating really does much to stop from selling to minors.

My CE is stamped 13,226/86,000. When I go to EB next I wouldn't be surprised to see a CE stamped with 122,533/86,000.

Heh, I think the AoC fans here don't realize that there are not 150 moderators on mmorpg.com waiting to delete/move/alter/lock any thread that doesn't praise AoC.  

I'll admit once AoC disappears into a niche 50,000 subscriber title obscurity that I'll miss this little community.

Silly me, I thought that the mature rating would allow for more flexability in chat rooms and such.  Rather than having to worry that some oxygen thief would piss me off and get me a cooldown.... It wasnt the partial nudity so much as the game saying "Hey you can let a bit more loose here and noone will care."

Show me a game that doesnt act like the typed word can hurt anyone else and Ill show you its first dedicated lifetimer!

I played wow to level 30 soz i knows wow has kidz graphics! aoc boobies gore and combos plus boobies and good graphics!WAR has more wow graphiucs for kiddies, aoc has boobies! tired of wow fanbois comin here an trolling! go back to WOW!!
