I am planning on upgrading my system to run WAR (I am due for a upgrade anyway).  I have went from 1.5 to 3 gigs of ram but I need a bit of help with the vid card as I am not a "hardware" guy.  Could I get a few reccomendations for a 512mb AGP card.  I don't want to go bottom of the barrell but I don't want total top of the line either.  I would like to be somewhere in the middle.

Thanks

-Currently Looking forward to SGW and Fallen Earth. If they suck then I give up...

It really depends on what settings you want to play on, but my suggestion would be the ATI 3650:

Its got a decent price, round $80, and performance will be good for the price. The AGP slot is going to limit you though, as I personally would say the Nvidia 8800 GT is better and around the same price, but it's only on PCIE. Honestly though any card will work, I am using a 9500m GS on my laptop and run the game fine on balenced settings.

I am not really a big graphics guy, I am more about the gameplay.  I am perfectly happing running on medium settings, I just want a nice smooth framerate.

what cpu do you have? Getting a fast video card may only be bottlenecked by a slow CPU. It's all about balance.

If thats the case then I would definatley go with the ATI 3650. It will handle balenced settings with no problem and could probably do high depending on the rest fo your setup.
