Which is just a nicer way to say that the level 1-11 people will be forever hunted by the level 12-21.

It was a good change.. I think the original layout allowed people to go two tiers below. This is much better IMO.

The original layout was zero tiers below.  If you entered a tier that you had outleveled you where made a chicken.

Eh... I really couldn't care less about the chaos chicken thing (although I did sort of like it's novelty) and I'd prefer that they remove the stupid PvP-debuff.

Removing the chicken all together was discussed but the beta testers decided that it would promote too much griefing.  One tier below was the happy medium.

You know what a better happy medium would be?

Reverse Bolster.

A 40 in a 1-11 tier ought to have their stats knocked down to 8.  Their level and the number of hitpoints would be consistent with the place they were -in-, their damage would not be ridiculous, but they would have a massive skillset advantage; they'd have big abilities and full tactics and Tome unlocks that no one in their tier could possibly have.  Their gear would also be truly ridiculous for their level, as well.  Figuring a way to balance that debuff would be a little bit of a trick, but it's much better than allowing 21s to gank 12s.  What the fuck is that bullshit about?  You wanna gank, go camp Bloodhoof as a 70.  You want to play a real game, be a man and play with people your own fucking level.

This was sort of discussed a while back, though not for the open servers.  We had a discussion for possible mentoring (along the lines of how EQ2 handles it).  Though that never came up again.

That is still crap and missing the point of not wanteing a chicken rule and open rvr , we  should be free to explore the whole world any time we want without out leveling it and then have to be a chicken from then on in that part of the world . 

They should keep the chicken rule like it is , locked to 1 tier each but only turn you to a chicken if you attack a lower tier player , don't need lv 20's in lv 10 rvr thats not the point of open rvr either the point of open rvr is so if i see an enemy out in the world i can kill him and not have to stroll by while he laughs and taunts(many more tacticle pvp reason to have open rvr, but thats my reason ) . No one is "chickened" out of any part of the world and no unbalanced rvr  and no enemy's roaming our land unharmed.
