WAR (Warhammer Online)

  I'm having some trouble here. I did not play the open beta but I do want to get this game and I was wondering if I should go for a Witch Elf on the Destruction side or a Warrior Priest on the Order side. I know that they are two totally different classes (I have played similar kinds in other MMOs) but I am curious as to which one would be the more popular. I've read that the beta had Order outnumbered by Destruction by a vast amount so that makes me want to go with the underdog and choose the Warrior Priest. The Witch Elf is so damn wicked though, she would be hard to pass up. What to do, what to do?

witch elves will be underplayed.  warrior priests will not

Order will be underplayed, Destruction will not.  However, there will be balances in place that will negate the faction imbalance.

Warrior priests are probably the best looking Order toon with their armor.  Witch Elves, well you got to enjoy playing a female toon.  And theyre the most revealing of the female toons in the game.

  I gotta agree with the female toon statement I have been playing female toons exclusively in other MMO's (currently playing Guild Wars franchise) and the Witch Elf grabbed me right away so I will probably go with one of them. Thanks for the input

I played the Witch Elf the most in CB and unless it changed it wasn't a class that was useful in RVR at all. I could own the scenarios because it was small scale PVP and you can pick off people one by one but in RVR theres gonna be like 50 enemy ranged standing there and they'll take you out even if you use stealth as soon as you come outta it and hit one of them you get owned in a second. The problem with the Witch Elf which you'd think they would have is they have no escape tactics and once you're in a fight then thats it :\

They need to give Witch Elf a Extra flee skill and make Stealth last 24/7.

You'll own anything 1 v 1 though seeing if you switch your talent tree thing around to deal with tanks.

The Witch Elf gets an ability later on that knocks them away from enemies, open beta and preview weekend were just the tip of the iceberg. Mind you the ability isn't until level 40 but hey it's there lol.

Warrior priest is very popular since its can pretty much plough through content unscathed.  Witch elf has much smaller numbers and survivability.  Sadly the dps gap between the two is small as well.  A dps speced healer is damn near melee dps err dps.
