Gaining Fragments - General Discussion - WAR (Warhammer Online)

How do you get fragments for the Talisman skill? I mean, I understand the mechanics, but it seems everytime I've salvaged all I've gotten are magical essences. Did I pick the wrong subclass for crafting?

Its random...its alot like enchanting you gotta break down alot of green, blue, purple etc items and not just the items marked for salvaging but regular greens etc. A good way to farm them is do all the chapter PQ's for every realm...talisman making so far is like a super chore

Keep at it.

I've made a few useful talismans now. I'm glad I kept with it.
Takes a lot of salvaging, and a lot of essences; you'll be greatful.

It's like enchanting in WoW.
You de a bunch of greens and get your dusts and essence, and you de a blue to get the shard.

I actually ended up buying essence off the AH.
I still have a couple fragments and no essence.

The best way is to just keep salvaging those magic items. I actually got into a bad situation where I've leveled past my talisman skill. I have trouble finding low level items to get low level fragments to level up my skill, cause I'm only getting higher level stuff right now.

Perhaps you can find a bunch of lower level magic items on the auction house.

Bring it on down now.
