Age of Conan

I wanted to know from someone who has had time to play the game is it any good? What is the best class? And last but not least does anyone have a buddy key so i could try this what looks to be innovative game?

It's not as bad as many are saying,  its not as good as they were saying it was going to be before the release.

I'm enjoying it,   make sure your rig is ready though.

Think the 7'ish many gave the game are about right.

**The dps caster class i hear isn't that great,  idk myself as I have never played one in any MMO.  Always rolled a healer or a tank,  this game got the Melee/Healer right.  Good dps,  great healing,  and you don't sit there and spam, spam, spam, your heals the whole fight.  Low hp pool though,  cant have it all.

Got no buddy keys either, but I'm enjoying the game. Not the best game ever made like the glossy commercial wants you to think, but I'm having fun nontheless. I'd recommend rolling on a PvP server, as they got higher population and people seem to have trouble teaming on some of the PvE servers. There's of course more or less FFA PvP there, so you'll experience some ganking, but at least on my server it's not much of it (and if it bothers you, get a good guild and repay the favor:)

I play Conqeror and I dig that... In community internal surveys done most people seem to dig Bearshaman and Guardian... With regards to hardware, yes it is a good idea to have a wellspecked rig as you can cranck it ut the more horsepower you have... However after last patch, performance got much better for those with medium hardware..

Serverwise, These servers have great population: Cimmeria, Deathwisper, Wiccana, Tyrrany, StormRage, Set... There are also others too like Thog and Dagoth... You should stay away from Derketo, Damballah and Bane unless you like low population.

Yeah i want to play a high population PVP server , i like it intense. The game seems to have a good range of classes to choose from i was thinking of being a necromancer just to be different from the traditional sword melee attack thing or yeah a bear shaman. Who knows..

At the moment there is no high population server. For intense combat you would have to join sieges, wich are not yet working correctly on the live servers. Should not be long though.

It doesnt offer anything other MMO games does and it's not better at anything either. I dont really see a single reason to play it unless you love Conan so much that you dont care if there are better games you can play. Doesnt really feel like any Conan universe anyway.

Your way to go for PVP is Warhammer. For PVE there are loads of games to chose from, although Warhammer sure works for PVE too.

I am sure intentions are the best, but little correction here. Sieges are functional indeed after Patch 2.0 that was launched a week ago. A Siege is 48vs48 clashing together over the walls of a guilds keep. A guy even posted a video in this forum..
