This is not so much a question as it is a statement but I felt it needed to be said.

In April, my Immigration Visa went through so that I could move from Canada to be with my husband in the United States. This means that my details have changed in the billing department.

I WAS paying my account with a prepaid credit card, but that expired in August and I have no way to reload it in the US anyway.

However, my husband has another credit card to use for payment.

What was happening is that today my account expires and I don't want to have to open up a new one so I went to load my new credit card onto the account.

The problem is that the system wasn't recognizing the credit card number because its an American number and it wouldn't let me change from Canada to the US location.

Annoying right? Definately. Especially when I went to the online chat thing to go talk to an SOE rep live and it wouldn't go through.

Here's what I did, it seems to be something that many people have a great deal of problem with and leads them to think Sony is horrible... I CALLED THEM. Thats right, I picked up my phone, sucked up the long distance charges, and called them.

You know what happened? The guy was polite, informed, and accomplished exactly what I needed in less than 10 minutes on the phone.

So now my account is ok.

With all the complaints about how terrible SOE customer service is, I wanted to make a post letting everyone know that, for the 4th time, customer service was absolutely fantastic with me.

Way to go SOE for proving everyone wrong yet again. THIS is why SOE has had me as a customer for YEARS.

At least there is a departement in SoE which knows how to do its job.................poor consolation for all those players who ve been alienated by SoE continous dumbing down their games (SWG and EQ2 in primis).

"We have no plans what so ever to do actual sales of in game items, and I'm personally very opposed to the idea for EverQuest"
"We aren't going to be allowing RMT in any way, shape or form on the non-exchange enabled EQ II servers. Period."
John Smedley
Dec 2008 RMT is introduced in EQ and EQ2 without any warning whatsoever
That's SoE for you

People working for SOE are humans too, some are stupid while others are very nice, just like the rest of us.

Most complains about SOE service however is that they are slow (at best, or not answering at all) with E-mails. I know people who never got an answer at all from mail. I don't know anyone having a problem with calling.

I don't really have any complains myself, only that their webb pages are a mess, really hard to find what you're looking for there.
