......Best Signature in the WORLD......

Hey guys and gals i was just thinking if you all think its possible for a game to virtually come back from the dead. Im not speaking of any game in general here, but if that dying game suddenly got better graphics or that one huge fix up, could the game have a second coming?

Well that's going to depend. Are you talking about Wheel of Fish or what?

Even sandboxes have fundamental rules such as; "Don't eat the cat poop, you'll die."

I think it would depend on how angry it made people to begin with. I have a few games that are dead to me already and no amount of fancying up the graphics is gonna bring them back because I just can't shake the stigma of hating them (I'm looking at you Vanguard).

I think if EA put a UO shard with a 1999 ruleset, it would kick ass.

"You''re wrong about drug use, when its not abuse ..."

I don't really think that would be a good plan since games get old that is just the way it goes. But I agree that it would be great if some games would return. And if one game is possible of returning then it would or Ultima Online (like the poster above said) or Star Wars: Galaxies, because this are still games where people talk about. Thinking about how it used to be and how it should be now...

But as an answer to your question; I think games can rise from the dead, but to do that publisher should make alot of commercials and they would have to make some serious content changes...

R.I.P earth and beyond,   my first MMO,  its just sitting on some EA shelf collecting dust (figureativly speaking).

i think if they added a pvp system, updated graphics and did some minor tweaks, EnB could be re released and be a highly successful mmo again.
