The folks at Pirates of the Burning Sea have announced that they will be extending the amount of time between port flips and port battles, as well as removing random scheduling of port battles.

After reviewing community feedback, we have decided to extend the time span between port flips and port battles from 22 to 46 hours. We are making this change in order to give players extra time to build contention, and we believe this adjustment will give players more time to organize for pending battles.

This adjustment will be introduced, along with the removal of the random scheduling of port battles, this Tuesday, October 7th, during the normal server maintenance window.
