Want to know if your Senator stood up for you and voted against this bailout?  Here is the tally.  I hope you look and if they voted yes you go and can their f*cking assess.  This selling out of American taxpayers has got to have some repurcussions from us or we are never going to have our voices heard ever again...

I don't think you understand that once the market bounced back the stocks the government owned (just like the 80% share they own now in AIG) would be sold to the public.

As I always have said, Michigan is a swing state and does not vote along party lines. We're issue based.

I still find it interesting that this is the same Bill that the White House sent over to Congress two weeks ago, just dressed up with even more pork.

C'mon, subsidies for manufacturing wooden arrows for children, subsidies for wool (maybe the taxpayers need more over their eyes?). FDIC insurance up to $250,000 to help out Joe Sixpack? Or subsidies for NASCAR track owners?

Nice how Obama and McCain hold the line on more pork.

 Kerry voted Yea. Kennedy abstained, but I'm sure if he wasn't half dead, he'd have voted Yea, too.

  God, I hate the Senate. Aristocracy FTL. The House at least has a *few* decent people.

oh well, atleast we dont got hurricanes. I'm going to go carve out a cave in the nearby mountains now.
