I currently don''t play mmo games, because there isnt really any worth playing.

do you really expect a playstation 3 game to run on playstation 1..

200 bucks cant even be called money, because it's pocket dust.. if thats mutch money, than its maby time to quit playing games, and start working..

pc these days is so cheap its laughable... but the sad thing imo is that this game dosnt run on mac, thats one of the reasons i liked wow..

ea mythic ,  thank you for making a game that me and many others can't play.  with the developers making a game  where we had hopes to play get crushed due to a little program that can cater to only the people who would by chance have a video card that can be supported by corprate greed.

good bye warhammer, hello darkfall. i hope this game dose not dispoint as well.

Everyone else has said it and I will say it to.......here it comes......

Check the system requirements.

Dont blame Mythic for your own ineptitude. The game installed and runs fine for me. Its good fun by the way

Sorry lorndarken your only the what second person I've seen say anything and he wasn't angry or blamed them he simply didnt know what was going on since he's not a computer person normally.  You obviously aren't either but your one of those get angry and blame someone else types that automatically attacks despite having no idea what your talking about.

Sad really...Im sure in a week we'll have a flame post that it sucks you have to PvP in order to get Renown Points or that the game is PvP based so the PvE isn't as great as you'd hoped it be.  Or that half the classes need a nerf because you have no idea how to play your class..sad really but...god I hope you play Order.

So you didn't check the video card, later found out that you needed a more up to date video card, got mad and posted what seems to be a rant.

Then you say you will go to DarkFall? And if Dark Fall requires a more modern card then what?

I just don't get posts like this.

I feel for you mate.

I know exactly how you feel for I myself had a similar harrowing experience whilst trying to run EvE online on my ZX spectrum.

Curse those greedy inconsiderate CCP folks for not putting "not compatible with ZX Spectrum" clearly on the box!

This is a definite deal-breaker for Mythic. We should all boycott their game just to show those game-hardware mafiosos we're not putting up with this anymore!

"If you''re not for yourself, who will be? If you''re always for yourself, who are you?"

If your card doesn't support vertex and pixel shader 2.0 then you couldn't run EQ2 either because that game requires vertex and pixel shader hardware. A friend of mine bought EQ2 and couldn't play for this very reason. These days you don't just pick up a PC game without looking at the minimum specs, which they have a very long list of cards that are supported and go as far to say that using a chipset other than what is listed might not run the game. Just fyi anything above a geforce mx series card supports vertex and pixel shader 2.0.

nope, can't find anything about a vertex shader 2 on the box anywhere . hmm it must be hidden like some sorta code where if you take the letters and arrange them in a way you would come up with that.  man i knew i should of brought my cracker jack box decoder ring with me when i was looking at the box before i bought  the game,

thanks guys. ill be sure to do that next time  .

This is where you went wrong. (in red).

System specs are actually important to properly check, but in any case with an integrated graphics card - you should ALWAYS assume it wont run any games.  (even if some do) theyre not designed for gaming.

Oh and nobodys saying youre trying to be a 'hardcore' gamer..  but if you want to play games..  youre a gamer at least..  and you NEED a proper graphics card.

Incidentally:  You don't stand a hope in hell of running Darkfall.
