It's the best F2P MMORPG out & will be for a long time IMO. It has fantastic graphics, gameplay & more features then some P2P MMOs.

I'm usually a P2P MMO Gamer, RoM changed all that. It is a quality game & Frogster (The team behind it) are doing an awesome job with the CB test.

If they continue on this road the game will be a complete success, i recommend everyone who's interested to register for CB - or if you prefer, wait 'til the OB in December.

Well, the main reason is that it's not open to everyone yet.

I guess you can probably get a closed beta key by visiting a website and doing something or other (that seems to be standard practice, at least in the f2p ones I've tried before that were in "closed" beta)

Plus, chances are pretty good that there will be a wipe after closed beta is over. Call me crazy, but I don't want to play a game (not an RPG anyway) where I do quests and such once for testing purposes, then a month or two later, do them again for real.

It is for me, I don't like people buying their way up by buying powerful items in the Mall.
I would play it if it was on a monthly subscription term.
Good idea would be to offer servers free to play and servers with monthly subscription.
Personally games that uses Item Malls are a big no no.

"We have no plans what so ever to do actual sales of in game items, and I'm personally very opposed to the idea for EverQuest"
"We aren't going to be allowing RMT in any way, shape or form on the non-exchange enabled EQ II servers. Period."
John Smedley
Dec 2008 RMT is introduced in EQ and EQ2 without any warning whatsoever
That's SoE for you

Normally the asiatic mmo's are keen about the Item Malls... But this game seems from a german company.

So i think there will be something like a premium subscription to maybe pass a certain level, or maybe something new.

Anyway since it's in beta anything can happen.

I believe it is the same company that runs Bounty bay online in Europe (Voyage century). At least the registration site is the same one.
