There is an obvious imbalance due mostly to the fact that there is very little to attract people to playing the most needed classes on the order side. The reason there are so many chosen and marauders as well as zealots is that they look awesome where their order counterparts look boring at best and awful at worst.

I know this varies by server and isn't relevant to most (it's a Roleplaying Core server), but for me, it's exactly the opposite.

Destro only outnumbers Order by 1.3:1 on Phoenix Throne (which has a high population overall to boot).

There are Ironbreakers and Runepriests EVERYWHERE. I mean, they are coming out of the woodwork. I can't swing a stick without hitting a flock of ugly little midgets.

Whereas Destro has amazingly few Zealots and only a normal quantity of Chosen and BO.

Not really waiting, but as soon as they are released I will be rolling a Blackguard.

"Is that all you have to say? Pitiful excuse for people who have no life."

they announced when the new classes come dont expect a couple weeks.  Maybe in months.  The stuff that was cut was going to be free.  Since not all of the players are happy.

SCIENCE PROVES CAPS LOCK CAN CURE CANCER.

Aye, I was looking forward to playing a Black Guard.

I've enjoyed the others, though. While it isn't a huge issue for me it is on my top 10 issues that I'm having so far. Probably won't be for a couple of weeks if you want to be very hopeful, if not more likely a couple of months.

I think they shoud leave the knights out till they put in Brettonian, that was the thing about that army that it was all about the knights. Although I take your point about tanks, I have had a lot of problems PvE due to a lack of a tank (until I rolled one). I always find the best solution if there is particular lack of a class, is to go roll one; but then both me and the missus suffer from "alt-itus".

I have found that it has been quite good to have a relatively limited number of classes, I have played ones I never would have normally, and had a lot of fun. I normally play pure healing classes, but I have had a blast with Witch Hunter and my main is Swordmaster. Also my Dwarf ruin priest has been fun - and I never play short classes (being over 6 foot, I just can't role play them).

For me, limiting some of the stuff at launch has not been a problem as I think it is much nicer to have "snacks" every month. I found that having a new chapter (every month or so) in LoTR actually made the game a lot more interesting.

To conclude, saying this game has no interest due to the lack of a specific tank (when it has two for order, and probably the "coolest" tank around in the Chosen) is a bit like a kid refusing to play because he can't have the racing car in Monopoly - but hell it's your time/money  spent it how you like :) Personally, I like a company that says they tested something but it was not good/popular class, so they are shelving it until the come up with some thing that is liked. Otherwise, we would all be reading posts on how  these classes suck. After all we don't want to give the WAR-hate trolls ammunition for their irrating posts :)

I want an ORDER tank class but the swordmaster and ironbreaker just don't cut it. (I love the chosen but refuse to go destruction)

I also want MELEE DPS but the Maurader is the only choice from both sides. White lion isn't truely melee DPS, it is half because of its pet.

I don't know what to do.

Some of the classes (perhaps all) will be put in in the next expansion (they do after all have to give you a reason to buy it) however they haven't mentioned when the expansion will be out. Most likely in a year or 2 if its anything like other MMO's

lol, your full of BS, if you read the dev interview he said they are working hard on getting the cut classes back in, he said they don't want to mess them up and introduce them. he said dont expect them back in a month, it will take a little time. 1 to 2 year my ass.

Yes because Devs NEVER say stuff like that to keep you playing...  Nope never heard of any dev from any company say that...

((This is not an attack at Failcom, all MMO company talk like he did in his interview.  Heck  WoW devs have been "working"  on seige machines for years now))

Yep I refuse to touch the game until they are put in.

So basically, there were 24 classes to begin with. Four of them got cut, and none of the other 20 were playable for you?

That's fantastic. All of the classes you were interested in were among the four that got cut?

Seems to me you're simply one of those people who looks for a reason to be dissatisfied.

OK slow it down there buddy, you don't need to be butt hurt that I want to wait till the game is more polished and has the omitted content before I decide to buy.

I'm not a hater of WAR just an RPer looking forward to the Blackguard and choppa.

I don't know if the other 20 classes are playable but I do know that I want my main character to be a Dark Elf tank. Is that ok with you? Am I allowed to wait for a class to release before I play a VIDEO GAME? Is it hurting you in anyway at all?
