Is WAR worth getting if you are a causal gamer?

I don't want to spend alot of time each week, or each night playing the game.  I don't mind spending 2-3 hours every few nights and on the weekends. What I want to know is:  is if that will be enough time spent in the game to get anywhere.

 Thank you for your answers.

I''ll snatch you bald-headed!

You'll get no further than you would in any other game where you play for only a couple of hours a week.

No, it takes for ever to level. If you want to be 40 by next year, you need to sink at least 4 hours a day into the game.

Level 15 here.  I play casual only, am having tons of fun and have progressed very well so far.  I think this is one of the most casual friendly MMOs i have yet to play.  Heck I played Lineage 2 casually and made it to lvl 61 playing mainly solo.

This is the best combo of pvp and pve of any MMO to date, IMO.

This game is made for casuals; hardcore players are soon to run out of content.

InvaderGaz

I'm a solo player, few hours a day/every other day. Things have been going fairly smoothly for me so far.

In-game: Toxilium

One of the best things with WAR is the open parties and public quests. meaning you don't have to wander around spamming LFG everywhere, simply press a button and see parties in your area.

Public quests are large PvE events anyone can take place in that certain area.

If you also don't want to join an RvR raid and go through the long keep sieges, you can just hit the scenario button and instantly teleport to a WoW-ish BG

Before WOW, there were MMORPG''s. After WOW there were online solo single RPG''s.

If quick and easy gameplay without much community chat is fine with you, then WAR might fit the bill.  WAR is certainiy a game you can log onto for a couple of hours or even less, and still accomplish something.
