I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to upgrading hardware on my PC. So I was just wondering if someone could take a look at my specs and tell me what could use an upgrade, and the cost of the upgrade. Thanks in advance. Machine name: THOMAS |

Your system is quite old. Its looks to be technology from 5 years ago. With this in mind you have 0 to gain from upgrading parts and are better building up a whole new system. If you do build a new system you will see huge improvement of performance. You can also get a descent system today for a minor cost. So it really depends on how much you want to spend. I would say you will see about a 400% performance difference just using an IGP solution thats a board, processor, memory, and hard drive costing around $300. |
