Development on the Xbox 360 version is not our key priority as there are a massive amount of PC gamers already playing the game, and we rightly have the focus on them. While there is a dedicated specialist project team working on Xbox, the PC version will remain our top priority for now.

And I have to say, I do not own a 360.

MMORPGs are definitely much more popular on the PC than they are on consoles. And since Conan is an online game and pay-to-play, it is still good business sense to focus on satisfying PC gamers (since PC games that aren't online and/or pay-to-play get pirated left and right). But wonder if anyone will still care when, if ever, it sees release.

It's possible people still will. I mean, what's the competition? Maybe there will be some players by then, but it doesn't really look like it.

I think the console design premise is what caused them to go with an entirely instanced world however. This issue is a game killer for alot of the people that started and left.

Life Liberty and the Pursuit of those that would threaten It

I agree Age of Conan is not a key priority of Funcom.

Be careful when you fight the trolls, lest you become one.

I'm sure Eidos is holding back because everyone knows how ugly its look out for Funcom at the moment

My laptop can't run the game, so the 360 was my main hope for giving AoC a other try. I can imagine the 360 port being canned in the coming months. Maybe next time consoles could get a release along with the PC version. I might have liked it. But yeah, in my mind, I doubt the game will last til they put it on consoles.

I hate to quote myself, but not even two weeks ago I said that neither the 360 version or the expansion pack will be released. The only question is which one will be (publicly) canceled first.

Looks like the 360 port will be the big winner

Why is that, because the movies will bring the exact kind of player that all mmo's hate into the game?

Its kinda funny to think that PC is the priority when the whole game was actually created around Console....

Enough said....

But you hall have fun playing a "MMO" on a console using the emotes and dancing as ways to comunicate.

Welcome to the age of apes again...  No wonder that the basic structure of the game is not build up on Grouping or working together.  Other than ofc pointless Guild cities....

Well, rumours are that Funcom was almost out of money, so they didn't have much of a choice. It's still a shame.
