Saw absolutely nothing in that article that would convince me to move across, but it did give me a huge laugh when i read the "No More Grind" section quickly followed by the line "WAR has its fair share of grinding, but it never feels like a grind." So funny, thanks for that. |

yeah, there's no reason to possibly play wow still now that war is here. oh wait, i don't like pvp. shame. that means war has about enough content to keep me occupied through the free 30 days from buying it. |

Both games have HUGE amounts of grinding to the extent that thats all the players focus on in both games. In WAR the PvP areas are empty half the time because the only thing the players are capable of doing is trying to go up levels as fast as possible by repeating the mini battlegrounds over and over or grinding through insanely boring and rubbish quests. WAR has a bit more variety in that you can kill other players but its almost as meaningless as killing someone in WoW anyway so its not actually very interesting. To be honest I see very little difference between WoW and WAR except that WAR has a few extra game mechanics to space out the repitition. In both games you just grind your way to max level and farm "phat loot" except that WoW has more of it. So basicly it boils down to how long you want your endurance test to last for. You can be bored in WoW for a long time or be bored in WAR for less time. |

The majority of people who play WoW should not come play WH. I didn't read the article, but the only thing I can think that might persuade the "few", are those who like a better pvp system. I played WoW for 3 months after release on a pvp server and the lack of a good pvp system is what made me leave. WoW is a great game if your more into PvE and if you are.. then you should stay there. Already seen too many WoW players come over to WH and start complaining about this and that. WH is not WoW/. |

Talked with a friend yesterday I met in UO 5 years ago and he states WAR is crap to him. Too static, not enough different things to do and after EA messed with UO he has no tolerance for their incompetence. For me, I have not tried it. But as I love UO gameplay, from what I read WAR cannot even hold a candle to UO even in its buggiest state.
