Nothing worse than something not working and getting zero feedback why it is not. My ship gets sunk every time in this scenario and I do no damage to the other ship, because no matter what I do my guns won't fire. Anyone offer any advice. Terrible game design when you can't shoot and don't know why. Yes, I have plenty of ammunition. Nothing worse than a tutorial that does not tell you anything. |

Just curious: What sort of ammo are your guns loaded with? I wonder if that might be the problem? Are you using dis-masting shot? (Bar, Chain or Star?) |

According to a friend, I had a bugged ship, once I abandoned the ship and got a new one it worked fine. I am only on trial so you can't talk to anyone if you have problems in game. I have not been very impressed so far. Seems that most of the npc battles have you outnumbered even on easy mode it is difficult. Once into a scenario there is no escape. You have no exit but to surrender and lose the ship. My first character ran out of money and I had to start a new one. You do get a basic ship if you run out, but it is only useful in the early missions, don't even bother trying to fight in any of the later missions with it. The ship skill points you get seem to be of very little help. The sword play missions are not so bad. You are usually pretty competitive, i.e. not overwhelmed in most cases. At least the swordplay skill points seem to make a difference. I don't think I would bother suscribing to this game. Seems sad too, I was always enamored with the age of sail. Really sad that the developers mucked up the game so bad, especially the sailing part.
