Is it just me, or are they really loosing their brains? "sorry to say but i find this game boring, i shouldnt have wasted my time playing this game " The game isn't even in beta yet, and they're alerady saying they're shouldn't have wasted their time PLAYING? I won't tell you where I saw this comment though, but I think it's pretty obvious where. ;)

Well your complaint lacks any kind of definition.   There are too many mediocre games out there in this genre who deserve any criticism directed to them.  If you can't stand the critics, go find another board to post on.  Many of us like to know both good and bad points in a game, that is the idea of a forum.

As to some games not out yet, saying a game is not even in beta yet is a pretty telling fact.  Too many of these games rely on the hype meter to stir up fans and then don't deliver on release.  If a game is not in beta yet, citing a feature set listed on a website is just ludicrous because everyone knows it is a wish list rather than a feature set.  That also tends to draw the criticism.  Then you have developers that continually lie about their products with multiple announced beta announcements.  The skepticism directed their way is well deserved.

So if you can't stand the critics, too bad, that is what a forum is all about.

The whole point of a troll is to make you angry, not prove your game sucks.

And to get you to respond.  Best way to defeat a troll is to not respond, but sadly that's beyond the power of mortal posters.

A person is not a troll just because they dislike some game or other, even in beta, and post about it.  They're a troll when they post just to make people angry and cause some sort of reaction.  Those people don't care about the subject as much as the reactions that ensue.  I know what forum you're posting about and I have seen very trollish behaviour on both sides of the fence, and not just the people who were shouting "vapourware" or "best in the world". 

Because a person refuses to change their mind or even simply acknowledge your point, even in the face of what you might consider irrefutable evidence, doesn't make them a troll.  It might make them wrong, or ill-informed, or even stupid in your opinion, but it doesn't fit the definition of a troll.  I find it even a bit funny at how people call each other trolls or fanbois because they disagree with the other.  The words have become meaningless through misuse - like retard or gay- they no longer mean what they were intended to mean.  In the case of the insults, however, who cares?  Once you start with the name calling, a fair number of people won't give your opinions any credibility anyway.  There are names on this board that I've trained myself to just mostly pass over and not bother reading what they post.  It's just easier.  Unfortunately, I might miss some good posts, but it works for me.
