It would b e a BS move by Blizzard. They are worth over 20 billion dollars already. They don't need to charge us for character customization.  The only thing they should charge for is if they let you create your own model. Like on pencil and paper. That would be sweet.

well it would be after the fact of making your character,  but instead of paid i wonder if they should just do something like how COX does it -shrug-

but if people want it that bad they will pay for it, i'm not surprised and don't blame blizz if they charge for it, thats why i make sure i like how i make my characters look so i don't have to worry about it later on. same things with names, if you can't name your toon properly its not blizz fault, i'm glad they charge for things like that.

I know they have it in the files..I read it from another mmo site..It should be in your folder..It is the future of more money sucking from the wallet..So it will be a Item mall with a Paid subscriber combine..Or it be just items at ramdom if you want to buy them or not..Guildwars have something like that..

In a small BlizzCon '08 press conference about WoW and Diablo 3,

Production Director J. Allen Brack (whom we interviewed recently), mentioned that one day even the skin and face of your characters would be customizable through some sort of paid change, akin to changing your character's name

 

other games like EQ2 do not slap a micro-transaction on you for changing your face / skin color

I hope Blizzard doesnt either

That is the smallest change for money I have seen in a game so far...

Fortunately for Blizzard, they know it will be very profitable... so why not do it? They said they were going to add barber shops earlier, but didn't mention pay. So if it only changes the skin and face... I mean thats not a big change, but with 10million subscribers, you could charge $2 for it and I bet half if not more will change at least 1 character's face model.... thats 5million dollars or more....

Thats insane... but smart
