Must be pretty rubbish games. I never had any problems with the games i play, e.g. eve, civ4, supreme commander etc.
The only thing that's meh is that, unlike most linux distros, windows can't use 32bit drivers with a 64bit kernel..

 

Nop also some normal games could have problems with that version i heard.

There are alot of games, new and old, that have problems running on 64-bit whether it's XP or Vista. The problem is, last time I looked, not one game that has come out has had a 64-bit client as an option. All games are written for 32-bit code so far.

Just like DX10 is pretty worthless when there's less than a dozen games since Vista released that actually use it. And Vienna already looks to be coming with DX 11, which may be one reason not many developers are taking DX10 seriously.

Maybe FarCry 2 comes with a 64bit version like FarCry 1 did :)

Nostalgia is bad.

I'm using Windows XP, but on a mac. It was the only way to get to play different MMOs, although two of the best are available on the Mac - Eve and WoW.

Maybe but it comes with support for DX10.1 thought :) can't wait

oh I use Vista 64 bit too - never had a problem with any game so far.

Playing: Age of Conan, Crysis Wars, Fallout 3, Supreme Commander.
Watching: Doctor Who S4, Stargate Atlantis S5

Incidentally, it's Vista Ultimate for me. Despite the rumours and the bad press (which isn't unusual these days) I've found it to be superior to all other systems for gaming.
