Ok Coffee and all the others who happened to be in Beta.

What happened?

Bg's are a joke with the new patch. What happened???

As a holy Pala with 495 resilience I could easely outheal the damage of 2 DPS for 30 seconds, no problem.

Now with the patch you can't outheal anything. DPS Paladins are insane.

What did all those people do in Beta. Amuse themselves ???

Good question, I ask myself the same question everytime Blizzard comes out with a patch for WoW.  It seems that every patch they OP 1 class and NERF another. Im curious as to what will happen with the expansion since they are changing so many things.  Alot of Upgrades and Nerfs are inbound..what are they doing in beta indeed.

  Well i guess this is because the new content is designed with lvl 80 characters in mind. So, at lvl 70, depending on the class/spec your playing, you will either find yourself overpowerd or gimped. The same stuff happened in the prepatch for TBC where hemo specd rogues were destroying everthing in sight.

 Every time they upgrade a class, they have to nerf it as well ... otherwise, everything would be inbalanced. 

I really hate WoW. Why don't you just get yourself out of this lame excuse for a life and join the best MMO to date: First Life?

I don't know. I double-critted starfire a few hours ago and dropped a Ret pally before he could even get to me.   That was on my moonkin and was the first real encounter I had in BGs since the patch.. kinda made my day

I've been playing my frost mage most of the night though, and he feels normal.   My personal nemsis class is still enhance shaman.. I just can't get the hang of beating them consistently (before and after the patch).    I didn't have much of a problem with Ret pallys, but they are definitely better than they were before. 

A couple of 'excuses' though.  First is the obvious.. most of the real pvp testing we were doing was at level 80, which is where 99% of pvp will be taking place in 2 months.  I know this is hard to swallow.. but you just have to accept that is a very hard thing to balance things with  new talents and spells at lvl 70 AND at lvl 80.   I'm sorry to say, but pvp is going to be 'off' until Wrath launches.   Another big part of it is you really have to relearn your class.  I know there were plenty of ret pallys who didn't take advantage of the judgement change and played their characters the same as they were before the patch.. they were easy kills.

I think it's a little premature to say that the game is borked when you've had less than a day to relearn your own class and learn what the new weaknesses are of other classes.

Things have changed.  Expect even more changes in the near future.

Blizzard know pallies are OP at the moment, they even laughed about it at Blizzcon last week, dont worry nerf is incoming.
