What else is there to say...

Lorne Gunter: Thirty years of warmer temperatures go poof
In early September, I began noticing a string of news stories about scientists rejecting the orthodoxy on global warming. Actually, it was more like a string of guest columns and long letters to the editor since it is hard for skeptical scientists to get published in the cabal of climate journals now controlled by the Great Sanhedrin of the environmental movement.

And that is why...

Conservatives' pessimism is conducive to their happiness in three ways. First, they are rarely surprised -- they are right more often than not about the course of events. Second, when they are wrong they are happy to be so. Third, because pessimistic conservatives put not their faith in princes -- government -- they accept that happiness is a function of fending for oneself. They believe that happiness is an activity -- it is inseparable from the pursuit of happiness.

I''m No Sellout

i hope all the proponents of man made global warming understand that it is just a vehicle to keep you afraid and taxed.

thats not to say, the hysteria that was man made climate change that peaked earlier this year or last year, didnt serve its purpose.

it has.

alternatives are a good idea.

and we didnt learn that through this climatic apocalypse.

no, we learned it through OPEC.

and these thugs at OPEC, as OIL continues to fall they threaten- no, not threaten, insist on less output to artificially inflate the price again.

what is wrong with $70 PPB oil? why not keep the current output?

i will endorse a carpet bombing and regime change if IRAN and/or Venezuela -if it tries to take food from my childrens mouths by there nefarious schemes of hurting americas growth of the middle class.

(i would like to hear obama say that)

in direct retalliation to thuggish decisions by the OPEC cartel, Obama should as president, endorse as much safe off shore drilling as possible.

but he will not, will he?

not change, more of the same. he will be run like every other liberal democrat elected into power. he will be run by moveon.org. he will take his order from chairman dean who gets his orders from moveon and george soros.

If you’re carrying nothing it won’t weigh you down

I see so many unhappy people everyday. So many angry people - those who get upset easily and have a quick temper. I see cynics, pessimists, skeptics, downers, and people bothered by little things. These people complain too much about little things and have more quarrels than the average joe. I must ask: "why do you let your life suck?"

Indeed, we'll soon be reading that we need to pump CO2 emissions to warm the planet to avoid an Ice Age.  The reason being, the human race did too good of a job at reducing global warming emissions.

I think you give the human race too much credit in able to predict global temperatures, as well as able to control it.  We are unable to predict the weather patterns of the Earth more than a week out precisely, and unable to control the weather.  Solar weather is beyond our control.

Besides the Earth has been hotter before and when humans were in limited numbers, using fire for only cooking and limited metal working.

The Global Warming Crisis is/was just like the Bird Flu some time back.  A big world scare of the "Bird Flu," which never materialized.  So what will be the next world crisis, A global financial depression?

And that is why...

Is it over yet...

Only time will tell. Even if we have a global climate change which causes the icecaps to melt or if we had a iceage, we will survive. I get tired of hearing people say its the end of the world. Its not. It simply means a few billlion of the poor people in the world perish in either extreme. Mind you thats sad. I mean people dying is horrible. Then again it frees up a LOT of resources.

Global warming is not caused by any factor we mere humans can produce.  Its made from Tom's lonileness factor.  With Tom getting friends on Myspace, his loneliness factor is decreasing creating global cooling.  What we all need to do to help bring our planets temperature up is to all quit myspace.
