I'm surprised no one has posted a link yet, but the highlights of 1.0.4 have been posted on the herald. Here is the link.

No one in this world can you trust. Not men, women, or beasts.[Points to sword] This you can trust.

The only meaningful fix they did was add experience to battlefield objectives.. to get more ORVR going on.

The rest is a 5 day bells and whistles kinda thing. I thought 1.04 would have more meat and potatos according to what has been said over a week ago.

I haven't been paying attention to what has been said lately. Care to enlighten me? Plus if people were expecting class fixes/balances that has always been intended for 1.1

95% useless crap.

1. The game needs class balances. Fixes for broken skills, morale abilities, tactics. Nerfs to CC, working diminishing turns. Working resistances. Nerfs to the damage of RDPS. Love for some classes.

2. The game needs much better RvR rewards: loot, renown, XP. Less focus on scenario rewards.

3. Itemization. Better and useful items. Option to get set items from RvR easier than it is with better keep drops, progress not depending on stupid PvE dungeons.

My subscription ends at 17th Nov. I will not sit and wait for the December patch. I want to see progress in the above things, and at least 1-2 of them adressed by more than 75% within the following 3 weeks, otherwise good luck to anyone who sticks around for the Christmas patch.

Mythic's selling points of this game were exactly this:

1. They claimed that this game had the best class balance at release compared to any other MMO.

2. They claimed that this game is a pure ORvR game with 75% focus on RvR fights. Not instanced scenarios or PvE/dungeon crap.

3. Meaningful and working stats. --> Resistances are not working as intended. Tons of good sets (19 sets per class) --> useless crap set items which does not drop anywhere except 1-2 items. Plus they all look the same.

None of these happened. Funcom promised things and didn't deliver. That's why they drowned. The same is happening with Mythic here.

Ted Treffon: No, I don't represent that either.

Osbourne Cox: You are part of a league of morons. Oh, yes. You see you're one of the morons I've been fighting my whole life. But guess what. Today, I win.

I think the CC issue needs to be properly looked at.  Mythic has always said they want to move away from their CC they had in DaoC, yet giving ANY class CC breaks this aspect (in my opinion).  Sorceress and healers are super squishy. Give them CC, okay makes sense.  Then give Ironbreakers the best cc in the game along with the best survivability?  Hmm im not sure about that.  I play a witch hunter and let me tell you, CC sucks in general.  I kill fast, i die fast.  The last thing i need is not only one target's CC on me, but then the other players that come to my target's aid.

Also, breaking CC, which my class and many other melee classes can do, is capable but still we need to deal with the god awful 1.5 second global cooldown.  Thats 1.5 seconds our target can run away. Thats 1.5 seconds our target can yell on vent that he's being attacked.  I believe that CC breakers should not be on a global cooldown.

Honestly, i think there shouldn't be a GLOBAL cooldown but rather a cooldown of varying degress.

with all the cries to make ORVR better what does mthic do add instant travel to pve dungeons

We have added three new guild rewards in the form of dungeon teleport scrolls. Each scroll can be purchased from a guild quartermaster, and is a single-use item that will teleport the player to a dungeon:

Gunbad Teleport Scroll - This reward is unlocked at guild rank 29, and will teleport the player into the entrance lobby area of the Gunbad Tunnels.

Bastion Stair Teleport Scroll - This reward is unlocked at guild rank 32, and will teleport the player into the entrance lobby area of the Bastion Stair.

Lost Vale Teleport Scroll - This reward is unlocked at guild rank 35, and will teleport the player to just outside the entrance to the Lost Vale.

where is the love for RVR

RVR is what you and your guild does when people get into t4.  Honestly, taking keeps is what the game is about.

Have you seen the top guilds on the server? Do you wonder why they are in their early to mid 20s?  Its because they fight and take keeps.  Taking keeps is what its all about.
