I'm assuming that some one out there is playing, so lets have them, funniest in-game moments so far?

I always wanted to play an unarmed character in Oblivion, but yea, they sucked complete ass.  So, guess what I made for my second character in Fallout?  Surprising as it may be, this guy is a wrecking machine.  he doesn't need guns or ammo and he rolls over almost everything.  Not the most tactical or complex character, but for pure fun and entertainment, this build has it.

Rejecting Mr. Burke's offer to blow up Megaton, then pummeling him in the face (while he screamed and tried to shoot me) until he collapsed in a bloody heap was classic.

Super mutants are the best part.  There's some thing oddly satisying about watching your character (in VATS) beat the living hell out of a 10 foot tall, green freak.  When they scream and try to back pedal away from you it's even more hilarious.

Slipping grenades into people's pockets is sort of amusing.  I have to admit to feeling a bit queasy when I shot a raider and it's head did a skipping stone sort of action across the water.  Sort of queasy and giggly all at the same time.

This just brings to mind an addition they should add for targeting in V.A.T.S - crotch shot.

I have found that F3 lacks the humor of the first 2. I am still looking for Dogmeat - haven't found him yet.

Why waste a point on Bloody Mess? I have a 95% chance at head shots now so I just blow their heads off everytime.

Sorry, I was replying to Signe's post, just forgot to quote.

You're right though, bloody mess is there purely for entertainment value

It does provide MUCH more blood and gore though, with multiple limbs flyng off at the same time...

I intend to live forever -- So far so good!

I took bloody mess more for the extra 10% damage then the gore and the splatter.  I too made my first character an unarmed specialist.  In the beginning I found some brass knuckles and thought this is ok, but then found spiky ones!  At that point it just got better, especially since I pumped points into repair and could keep my weapons in top condition.  Eventually with all the exploring I found the Fisto! power fist and have been mangling ever since.

I do keep other weapons for certain situations.  I love the .44 scoped magnum as well as a plasma rifle.  After getting the light foot perk where I no longer set off mines and traps I've accumulated quite a few mines so I try to have fun with them as much as I can.  This one time I was at a locked door and I knew for certain there was a super mutant on the other side and he could hear me walking around.  So to have some fun I laid about 10 mines right in front of the locked door, unlocked it and quickly ran back.  The mutant took one step throughthe door and all I saw was chunks flying through the air.

If you want an interesting inarmed weapon, yesterday I managed to make a deathclaw thing.  All you need to do is find a deathclaw, kill it and take his hand.  There are plans you can find and you basically take the claw and strap it to your wrist.  It's supposed to go through armor like a knife through butter.  And carefull about fighting the deathclaws.  They're quick and hurt like hell.  I got to go kill a few more and make a few more claws so that I can repair my original just to see if it will outdamage my power fist.

So, hows the damage on that claw?  I heard about it, but haven't had the chance to try it yet.
