I dunno it actually looks pretty decent. For a f2p it appears to be one of the better ones out there , at least from the look of it , it doesn't appear to be cheaply designed like games such as PKO , PW etc which are just really bad , bad enough that it being f2p still doesn't do justice to it's bad quality.

But no matter what Free Worlds turns out to be , it still wont be scarier than your avatar.

It is one of the better ones out there?  Maybe if you are in the 12-15 age group, other than that it is just a last gasp attempt by SOE to try another age group as they are failing in anything older.

Games that are aimed at younger gamers can still be fun , I guess I kind of like them sometimes because it brings back the nostalgia of my youth playing such games as pajama sam , mr.potato head ( hahaha :D ) and the likes. I also like more fairytale style art graphics as oppose to take dark and depressing graphics from games such as AoC , WAR etc.

After poking around on the official site a little bit and watching the trailer I have to say it looks pretty decent. The graphics style looks like a cross between Shrek and WoW. The quality looks quite a bit better than most f2ps out there I have to say , now what the community will be like on the other hand...that is what the games downfall will most likely be. I would've loved to have a game like this to play as when I was younger.

A free mmo designed around casual lighthearted play, not designed around being dark leetskeet uber pwnage on a stick?

Sign me up.

But seriously, is it just me or are fantasy mmos changing from check out how unique we are, to check out how leetskeet hardcore this game is.

It's made for kids like Wizard101 and Club Penguin so WTF cares?

SOE can't make a game to save their lives. They've made one good one, EQ and thats only because it was one of the first MMO's and no one knew any better. Everything else was a piece of sh*t from launch including SWG.
