Season 2 is official. I haven't had an interest in a series in a long time and am glad this is continuing.

I've read a little for future episodes and am curious to see if the series stays true to the books. I'm most interested in Jason being turned into a were-tiger and Sookie's background.

Also, it is rumored Vin Diesel will be joining the cast as Quinn, the were-tiger that turns Jason.

Any thoughts? And, can anyone answer what the hell Amy is? I know she's not human, but I can't find anything on her.

no spoilers here....but Amy is Jason's girlfriend right?

Was she also the freaky chick with the pig that was in the middle of the road in the last episode? I was thinking she's a nymph/druid

I'm kinda hoping Sookie will get turned. No spoilers but I think Renee (the guy engaged to the red head is the killer)

I couldn't tell if that was Amy (yes, Jason's GF) or not.

And yes, it is Rene. The vision Sookie had in the bar was Rene killing his sister.

Yeah, they treated him like shit though. I was ready for him to "set the building on fire" (office space).

I liked the first three episodes, but then I fell behind. I'm going to catchup if they're all available through HBO OnDemand.

I thought the first episode blew, but every episode since has gotten better and better.

Oh, and I'd like to smack you around for the book-related spoilers. I'm being entirely honest here.

See, on some things they are sticking with the book, others they are not. In the books Amy had a very brief part and was actually killed.

But, I didn't reveal the big book spoiler with who Sookie actually ends up with.

I really liked the character renee, he was the one person who i didnt think of.

And i dunno, now that sam told sookie about shifters and were wolves, the series is just getting more and more interesting.

i really hope Sookie ends up with Bill. Im not much of a romantic but Sam treats her like shit, and Bill is doing the best he can given the circumstances.

If Sookie chooses Sam, then she really is screwed in the head. I really want to see her get turned. I hope they add more storyline to Eric. I know he was a Viking so he's very old and his character is badass.

Bill, they def need to do more with him in the next seasons.

Amy, they should have stuck to the books and killed her off fast. I hate her. I hate her even more that she killed Eddie the vampire. Poor guy.

Jason.....I can't stand him.

I knew it was Rene after the last episode. There were just too many clues that gave it away. Fun clues tho. And if you missed the episodes, watch them on HBO in demand. They are all there. Also....when you see Sam's office in the second episode...look at the oil painting ;)
