Any new or returning player to WOW, send me a PM for some help getting started. |
Is this troubling to any one else? A realm struggles for 2 days to lock a zone and move on... players flood to attack and defend (yay!!! large scale oRvR). 15 mins later the entire server crashes.. when it comes back up 4 hours later.. everything has been reset. So not only do you have to do the voodoo required to lock a zone ( do PQs help much? how many scenarios do we have to win? what about BOs??). Once you finally do find the secret formula to lock a zone, then you have to cross your fingers and hope the server doesn't crash if people actually show up to oppose you. Is there any wonder that people plan their major raid attempts early in the morning... the servers can't handle a full defense. BTW.. this happened on REM server. |

Saturday morning on Phoenix Throne we locked down Praag and didnt crash. It seems that pq's didnt do a whole lot and niether did that zones scenarios. Im not saying that they dont do anything, its just that it didnt seem to matter that much. What did help turn the tide was capturing the keeps and bo's in the lower tiers for that zone. It was alot of fun trying to take chaos waste but it was pretty much the same ole same ole, take this battle objective and take that keep. |

When did this happen? Badlands has locked down areas several times and even had people to the gates without any crashes. Are you sure these people weren't playing right before the servers went down for four hours for a patch? It always resets the world when they patch or do maintence. |
