Yeah, let's get all militaristic about our hand-outs so we can continue living pathetic lives! Actually it's a little scary considering he wants to make a national police force out of these thugs.

It is a great idea.   I say, three years minimum, compulsory service.

Look to the 60s.  It is the only way to get people involved.

When you force a draft people react in one of two ways:

1. They get "tough" and serve, or
2. They get "smart" and participate.

When they get smart, they finally realize, holy smokes, I better participate in the political process because, after all, these people could make decisions that force me to do things.  Gosh! 

It would be a great thing to get people to serve the country, good for them and the country.

Do you have one clue as to what you're talking about?  The draft is for the military--you know where you're defending your country against invaders or fighting a tyrant overseas. We're talking about a POLICE FORCE. There should be no military police force becuase they aren't accountable to the people.  It's the kind of thing third world countries do who have no freedom. It really shocks me how ignorant people are of how a goverment should be in a free society.  No wonder this guy was elected.

Fine.  Call it a "civilian protection force."  The name is not relevant.  Wholly irrelevant.

We are not safe.  We are subject to all sorts of natural disasters, and just as bad, man-made disasters.

We need to have a civilian defense/protection/response force in place to deal with these sorts of catastrophes that, I regret, are inevitable.  We can manage them better.

Buy a gun, or 2, or 3, or 4 and lots of ammo.

Seeing as you don't get what it means to the black and minority communities in America you won't understand the video. Now because of Obama a black person can no longer say they can't be President. They can no longer say they can't do anything due to the color of there skin. Obama becoming president  shows that white people arn't the only ones who can become president. If 2 years ago i would of ask any black kid in america could they be president they would say hell no not in this white mans world. But now they can't. And now i think no minority race can say that.

You do not seem sufficiently frightened, which worries me.  We live in a "different" world now.  

We should deputize a volunteer intelligence force of 100,000 in addition to a civilization protection/defense/response force. 

The world is dangerous.  We need protection.  I say a national ID card with RFID technology is one important step in the right direction.  This way we know where everyone is at all times and when it is mandatory to provide indentification, we can know who the person is.  Iris scan, and thumb print, perhaps should be on this national ID card.  Electronic strip-searches at airports, and I say, major commercial buildings as well as federal and state buildings.  Maybe even the post office.  We are not safe.  This is a dangerous world.  I say people's laptops, and cellphones, are containers that are subject to search just like boxes are.  The authorities, or public servants, need the ability to protect us.

The Constitution is not a suicide pact!!  It is just a f-ing piece of paper, as President Bush said!

OMG, look at the black kids! Oh noes! They are coming to get your white women and have their way with them!

Obama himself had NOTHING to do with this video, it was some school teacher who made it (and he actually got in trouble for posting it.) And you called them "thugs." Those kids are not thugs. Thugs are criminals, drug dealers, gang bangers, etc. But I guess to you, any black person is a "thug."

 Obama wants to create a new kind of selective service, one that college kids can volunteer for and get compensation to help with college and other expenses. The key word here being "volunteer." He does not want to create a gestapo run by black people.

By the way, here's a video that is 10x more scary than any "Obama Youth" video could ever hope to be.
