Was just woundering, few hours from the official Korean release.

What happens to us poor sods in the west (or east, depends on how you look at it  )? 

Are we to suffer the torments of long hard monthes of  translation time, server setup and debugging?  Or is it going to come about fairly quickly? I haven't found any info on this! I've read some vague remarks mentioning April, but that seemed just unconvincing...

I know, this game looks so good to me I want to try it now.

No, I couldn't realy say that, since I more or less found out about this game (or should I say, gave it a chance).

well from what i understand from readin various websites and forums.

January 1st is Chinese open beta and then shortly after that will be oficial Chinese release (as dont like korea). And according to some other posts and interviews i read they will be aiming on a release every 2 months (ish). So that said, id expect to have a EU / Northern US & Canadian release around April.

But also i read that Centeral / Souther USA will be released late 2009 early 2010.

i cant really give you links to where i read this. i got bits from various sites. have a look round aionsource.

Uhhh.. why would Central or Southern USA be released later than the rest of the USA? That makes no sense.. Plus, I live in the South so don't scare me like that. lol

He means central/south america lol. Like, you know, having servers in bolivia or brazil so the south americans get less ping. That's planned for 2010.

I think Aion will definitely launch within half a year after Korean launch. I am budgeting for a new computer right before that.

I'm guessing a few months after Korean release. I'm currently trying to compile a list the things they need to do (in my head) before they can do the NA/EU release (translating.. marketing.. etc), and from I have so far it shouldn't take them too long, not to mention they could be doing them simultaneously while prepping for the Korean release. After all it's NCSoft, can't be short on manpower right?

 After getting a Friend of our Legion to check up on Some Korean Resources we are looking at an Early March Release For NA/EU i cannot gaurantee this but will atleast say i am 80% certain.

I've looked around and alot of places are being told the Release Date is March 19, 2009.
