Anyway once blizzard puts out an official report of 12 million players buying the Xpac then I will believe they have that many. Anyone know how many copies of TBC sold? did it surpass the 12 million mark? yeah probably not. the last time we had offical western figures was january 2008 http://www.blizzard.com/us/press/080122.html 4.5million EU+US subs. |

the statment clearly states it does not include china, so thats 2.8million to a player base of about 4 million EU+US players in 24 hours. TBC sold 2.4million in 24 hours and 3.6million in 1 month to a base of 3.8 million EU+US players so its about the same. so clear things up WRATH is not avaliable in china yet, just as TBC was not at launch. be a few months yet. |

10man or 25man? does not say. On my server GrimBatol (very old hi-pop server) , about 3 25man raid groups are going through NAXX (naxx being a starter raid BTW) no one has cleared it yet, only 1 guild killed 25man Sartharion , no guild has done 25man Malygos. Theres more sucess in 10man versions but again only about 6 guilds doing this content. These are the elite raid guilds, many of whom played on beta for months learning these bosses or looked up guides on the net. Your acting like these players have never seen these bosses or played these bosses prior to Wrath being released, thats not true they were accessable in beta for months, videos being made, guides being wirtten and players experiencing it. And you cant compare the tacked on tank'n'spank PvE raids in WAR to crafted scripted PvE raids in WoW. |

Again you have not played wrath so your not educated enough to comment. I have played WAR and what a dissapointment that was in all areas. |

I work in an IT call centre.. nothing more annoying that a know it all "I am an IT engineer why do I have to do this", what they have to realise is we have a process to go through, we cannot skip steps. GM was just doing his job, following the process, be nice to our GM's its not often we see em |

Just so you know endgame was completed by the most hardcore guild in WoW, the guild in question played all the end game bosses in beta for 4-6months so come release they simply helped each other power lvl to max cap in a few days greatly helped with the top end lvl 70 PVE raid gear from TBC.. it was then business as usual as they killed all end game bosses dozens of times in beta, they knew the fights. It wil take heavy raid guilds atleast 6 months to get that far If you honesty think this is normal and they experienced all that wrath has to offer.. then.... pfft As to DK's, the starting area is designed to teach you how to play the DK over 3 levels so yes it handout.. duh. But its super fun too. I got wrath on launch day and I am only 20% in lvl72... with about 17 hours played.

This is a hardcore, wow 24/7, no job/life guild whoes goal was to use their vast beta experience and team play to complete the end game raids ASAP. But this has already been pointed out in WoW forums. Dont get me started on lack of WAR endgame or that lvl 1 is the same as lvl 40 game play. |

I have seen 1 DK in northrend (that was today), lots around Stormwind around lvl 60 (as you would expect) and no doubt loads in outload.. I dont agree with OP. they are not everywhere (other than where you expect them to be) and no not every 1 has one. |

Not like the content and raids were new to this guild, they played with beta for months, learning the fights untill they become routine. The hardest thing was getting to 80, once at 80 they all knew the fights, they all knew what to do. They were all in the best gear and the top end lvl 70 gear with 80 weapons and trinkets is good enough for 80 raiding. Just as a guild in pre-wrath could do all the end game in TBC in 1 day with enough practice. These were not fresh faced raiders, these were hard-core. no job, Wow 24/7 raiders who had played all these raids dozens of times in beta and had the strategy all worked out. Blizzard did not get the tunning wrong the raid guild got the preperation right. |

What you read is the exception and not the rule, I Have played abour 10-12 hours id say since thursday and I only dinged 70 today, doing the odd dungeon run and plently of questing (got my 1500 quest achievemnt too). |

I have felt the starter dungeons in Wotlk are a little easy, no one uses CC any more its, just gather them up and AOE. So far thats my only negative comment on wrath. |

Lets wait before we pass judgment. I'd be the first to gather together all my Blizzard games and have a bonfire if it does turn out I have pay for Bnet and/or players can buy gear. Untill then Ill wait and see what developes. |

This is 1 guild, som 40 odd people out of 11miilion, who after learning 25 naxx backwards powerleveled to 80 and sweeped through the raid in 1 sitting. Just like BWL, I remember my guild would take 3 sittings to clear it then after a few month all done in 1 sitting. around 2 hours... will practice things get very very easy. You cant select 25 pug players, auto level them to 80 and expect them to clear naxx. but this guild who spent many hours in naxx in beta can . [edit] This event is very much the exception and not the rule, A rouge dinged 80 on my server today (first rouge to do so.. yet I am still lvl 70 LOL) |

They have not said you will HAVE to play to use Battle.net, just some features of it, as long as I can join and make games I dont care what other fancy stuff is on there. Think being bounded around are custom chat channels and tornements. It would be commercial sucide to force people to pay for Battle.net, they would lose 99% of there players overnight. Although I am fully against any kind of micro transactions we have no idea in what form they will appear so untill then I'll wear my banner with pride. |
