Hi there i was wondering if duoing is possible in this game. I played beta ages ago and liked the game but wasn t sure if it was for me. My wife and i play eq2 but want a casual second game to play. The cost of 2 MMO s isn t an issue time sometimes can be. So i m asking can we duo in this game casually with the odd group here and there, what classes would be best suited to do so and if this makes a difference what server would you suggest for finding groups when needed. Thanks in advance.

If Turbine does what they did in AC1 with monthly updates i won t be playing anything else that alone will give it longevity. I have heard of some upgrades to the Monster play and it s areas down the road as well can t remember where i read that. All in all i love the game will it be the next daoc for me which i played 4+ years not sure but as of now it s the game i will be playing over all others at least until WAR comes out and even then i ll keep this up and running.

I hear ya i have a busy life and LOTR fits the bill perfectly. Vanguard if you got it running without bugs is too much of a time sink as is with the bugs etc just makes it way worse.

WAR for sure WOW will kill itself.

Hi was wondering if someone without breaking any nda etc could tell me if the quests are a little more in depth then most games ie fed ex quests and kill x amout of y etc. I had enjoyed the quests and lore in AC1 and somewhat AC2 but am a little tired of the typical ones out there now. Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this :)

Ya i hear ya was just wondering if there has been any ideas on the subject. I can play EQ2 at balanced setting without much trouble so i m guessing it should run WAR decently.

Does anyone have any info on what the minimun and Recommended specs will be i can t find it anywhere. My comp is decent but just want to make sure so i can upgrade or not.

Ok where to start. I played DAOC for many years and did really love the rvr but thought it could be implemented better. I suggested to some guild mates that they should have an area we fight over for resources to craft etc. This way the crafters would get their feet dirty as well. From what i ve read these chip wars seem to be like this. Is this correct . All i can say is if it is i m in and can t wait to play it.

Also are there any high end raids etc not 100 man ones but smaller group ones .

I have played WoW to lvl 60 and i can say i truely felt i wasted my time. Now before you or any other fanboi jumps all over me realize that i think the game is decent but just not great at all.

We all have our own opinions and mine is that WoW is just too easy ad gets boring fast.(MY OPINION)

As far as EQ goes i m playing EQ2 and enjoy it way more but really who cares what i say or anyone else play what you like.

Nothing against original poster but i ll never understand why people ask other people if a game is worth buying. I myself love the game have a 61War/30Sam and enjoy it alot, but that doesn t mean you will . This game is for sure not for everyone just like WOW isn t for everyone all you can really do is try it and see, but i will say this if you don t have alot of time i would say it s not for you very in depth game alot involved. Well anyways good luck on deciding:)

I m only going to state the obvious but i hope some of the people that are not sure if they are going to get the game or not can decide from this. The game just finished beta , to me it seemed like they were more concerened on making a stable good solid game for release rather then content, so i believe and i m pretty sure there will be alot of content to be added it would be stupid not to add it. Will there be anything to do at higher lvls well of course this game is bye far the funnest i have had in any mmorpg and trust me i ve tried almost all of them. The events they could throw at us alone will be enough fun for everyone . The best thing about this game i ve found is a casual player who works alot like me can get in game and have fun right away opposed to any other mmorpg i ve played , trust me people it will be a good game later on and the best is still to come i m sure Cryptic isn t dumb they ll add alot of content i mean hell they made a near perfect game already i m sure they re not going to sit back now and do nothing. Just go get it and have as much fun as were all going to have on release and beyond :)
