Version 1.3.4 of Warhammer Online has hit the PTS!

Reported on Feb 01, 2010Community Coordinator Andy Belford spills the beans on the upcoming 1.3.4 patch for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Patch 1.3.4 is set to hit PTS sometime in early February, and will include an entirely new line of weaponry purchased through a new currency earned solely through Scenarios, significant changes to Campaign gameplay, and a streamlining (including removal) of scenario offerings.

Reported on Dec 18, 2009Game Update 1.3.3 "Retribution" has been deployed to live servers! Highlights of the update include a new Underdog system, which has been implemented to allow for the losing side of the Tier 4 campaign to mount a comeback; new graphical upgrades in the form of HDR (High Dynamic Range) & Bloom lighting; and the WAR Report, a convenient window which gives a snapshot of all the campaign activity on the server and allows for players to instantly teleport to the action.

Naturally many fans of the game are concerned, and Hickman writes to ease the fears centering around WAR's future due to recent developments.
Reported on Nov 13, 2009According to a report over at Gamasutra, Mythic Entertainment, the developers of Warhammer Online have taken a major hit in EA's latest round of layoffs. A number of presumably now former Mythic employees' tweets are cited in the report, with one Katherine Pitta stating that as many as 80 employees or 40% of the Mythic Entertainment workforce was hit in today's layoffs.
Reported on Nov 09, 2009A recent post to the WAR Herald reveals that the Warhammer Online Endless Trial, which allows for players to play through Tier 1 for free, is now live! The launch of the new trial will automatically convert all current 10 Day trial users over to the new system, and also sees the introduction of a new streaming trial client. Similar to the World of Warcraft trial download, players will only have to download a 1GB client with the rest of the data being streamed in as it's needed.

In the recently released Patch 1.3.2, the bug has been fixed and AP rates have returned to normal levels, but with players so used to being able to just spam their attacks, there have been some concerns in the community over the issue and WAR's Combat & Careers Team Lead Nate Levy addresses them in this latest dev diary.

For this set, we get a look at the newly designed armor sets for the following classes: Shaman, Marauder, Chosen, Witch Elf, Archmage, White Lion, Witch Hunter, and Knight of the Blazing Sun. The images show a comparison of the armor progression for these classes from Sentinel to Invader armor sets.
