First off I'm not a whiner about getting ganked.  I can handle it.  in fact that always motivated me to level so I could compete with all the villains.

Now, I'd like to know where to start my 2 week adventure?  I plan on rolling French since they probably need the help.

Suggestions of what to do and what to expect?  Server recommendations?  I prefer populated.

Damn is it really that bad?  I've always dreamed about playing a great see faring MMO.

i was about to do the trial but then i saw the SOE logo and i just closed the window...

SOE = bad business(SWG)

The last remaining more-or-less-populated server (Antigua) is now light accross the board at primetime. That should really tell you all you need to know. Check the linky to see the server statusses. These are updated every 10 minutes. Light means less than 150 players on line.

As French you start at Charlesfort, Florida.

Do the economics missions to the point where you get sent to Pointe-a-Pitre and do the Boarding Tutorial at Charlesfort (offered at level 5) too which also sends you to Pointe-a-Pitre.  That way, you can do them both at the same time without making two trips.

Then, if you don't mind getting ganked - visit your nearest "Red Circle".
