Leave me alone with that AoC crap ! Having to press multiple keys instead of only one doesnt make a better combat system. Thats just as "innovative" as this stupid combat system from "The Witcher" where you had to click on the opponent at a certain time.
Best combat systems I know of are in Vanguard and Guild Wars.

Guild Wars, because it's skill-based.
GW is classbased. Oh, of course you use skills to attack. But that you do in class based systems just as well.

i've tried every mmo that exist and i would say city of heroes/villains has the best combat system, it almost feels like an action rpg which is a good thing.
To some it may be, but to others it isnt.
Am playing since release.
Yes wasnt that great in beginning, but I never left, simply because VG is closest to what I really want to play on the market, and there is nothing closer to my vision of the perfect game even at the most distant horizont.
(Which sucks a lot)

[blablabla]I havent even bothered this time around,[...]
So you wasted my time reading through all your crap just to say AT THE END that you havent tried ???
Pfft.
A simple "This game had its chance, I cant be bothered anymore" would have been enough, you know.

Or maybe just leave him be.

i liked it a bit but not alot, so i think ill wait for the new mmogs (darkfall, aion, huxley etc.) to come out first then i will decide
You'll have to wait for a LONG LONG time for Darfall lol.
Imo Huxley, no interest, SGW, no interest (looks like a tabula rasa clone)
Aion = mix of Lineage and World of warcraft ^^
Darkfall is very different from what Vanguard is.
There was never much R to CRPGs.
And giving UO as an example makes me wonder you think that Oblivion was a better RPG than Baldurs Gate, Planescape: Torment, Neverwinter Nights 2, etc, all games who had classes.
I would strongly disagree. Having only skills is in fact much more limiting in possibilities, than having classes.

The game is another bland and generic fantasy game [... blabla insult blabla generic claim blabla ...]
Says who, on what basis ?
And about the "generic fantasy" part, do you like fantasy at all ? You sound like you simply dont want to play fantasy.
Well crafting might be "best ever made", though some games (original SWG and EVE) are often mentioned as even better.
But honestly, I am still not really happy with it. Do you really have to stay at work benches for weeks and months to get your maxlevel crafter ? Is that really such a great idea ?
What aspect of MMORPG's are you more into?
