Yeah, but thats just at release. It's really anyones' guess if they will add it later.
On the note of flying something non-areodynamic, they have haulers and double haulers. They're just about as areodynamic as a brick. Or Rossie O'Donnel.
You get the idea.
You unfortunately cannot fly what they call "Capitol ships". They will be in the game but be completely NPC controlled with players in small ships flying arround protecting/attacking it.
They already have a fully functioning control set for the keyboard. All of the videos released so far (the unofficial ones that is) have been people at various conventions trying out JGE with only a mouse and a keyboard. They all seem to like it, commenting on how intuitive the controls are.
I do not think there is a published guide for controls due to the good possibility of change through beta to refine it even more. Buuuuuut, from what i've seen it looks very much WSAD and mouse/mouse wheel heavy. And i love it. ![]()
Wow, a ND dev, thats damn cool. We need to get this game on the hype meter, or wait for some of the other games (see: darkfall) to flop.
More exposure! :)
It is their own engine called "DANCER". It's the same as the classic version (Which i played VERY briefly for the demo) but with a few tweaks to make it easier to fly for the novice pilot.
Aside from questing, what do you spend most of your time doing in-game?
