This official sucks... I spend a hour writing a post and then you by accident click the delete button with marking anything and voíla: everything is gone!
I had very nice post here and as I'm not going to rewrite it I will do a short summary

And to finish off this, once long but now very short, post about hardcorism I'll say [triple dot] NOTHING! because I've got no idea what to say, kthx.

(If you got nothing to say just show some pictures)
I'm confused; how can playing PvP in anyway be useful for a PvE character? I agree with Lydon that the secondary choice isn't very relevant since you after a fairly short time will be able to change your secondary for a fairly small sum of gold. Here's a [url:http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/172099]guide to choosing your secondary, that way I don't have to rewrite all here.

If in doubt, PvP. That's taken up around 70% of all my Guild Wars play time.
Start with Alliance Battles or competitive missions (such as Fort Aspenwood or The Jade Quarry in Factions).
Personally I'd recommend to stay clear of these since they're all in comparison to HA or GvG quite boring. But that's just me. Don't give up PvP before having given HA and GvG a try though.
I'm quite sure one of the first rules of the internet states I should not ever mention I'm virgin. Thus I shall not tell you what option I picked.
If the A+ title tried to attract a different form of crowd than the WoW one. Something along the lines of a sandbox that in many ways resemble EVE Online but still differ in having a more conventional fantasy setting. Then you wouldn't compete with WoW about it's customers but try to attract the ones who aren't pleased with WoW.
Warhammer Online promised decent PvP and didn't manage to live up to it. WAR I felt was a game that had potential to live up to the major part of the hype that was built about it; it was a fairly simple game that didn't aim to rework the concept of MMOs or try to be revolutionary like AoC. Even so it didn't manage to do it. Thus it becomes the biggest disappointment.
