    A cartoonist who ripped off the Noob character MMO comic idea from a old classic from the early days of Ultima online by a player called ImANewbie who did a comic that become very popular with his UO character called you guessed it ImaNewbie.

  •   Maybe you're new to MMO's and don't understand the unwritten rules of MMO etiquette. If you happen to see somebody fighting a mob whose obviously in control of the fight. It's considered rude to simply rush in and start laying waste to the mob. It's very frustrating when you're enjoying the solo challenge of the mob and the xp rewarded for its defeat, and then along comes Tim nice but dim and ruins that enjoyment for you.

      You may mean well, but you got to realize some people just like to chill and solo for a bit and don't want help. Same as a person born with dwarfism standing at a bus stop wouldn't appreciate people give him a lift up like a child onto the bus steps when the bus arrives. It doesn't hurt to ask if they would like a hand first.

    Isn't that the problem with most self-centered MMOs today?  The IR-betr syndrome is a real problem for myself, when I play online.

    It's honestly sad when I can become better friends with people on an Age of  Chivalry server in 20 minutes...Than in a 3 hour long instance within an MMO.

    But whatever, it's the trend I guess.  I'll never understand why people aren't sociable when they're online playing a game...Even if you're shy, there's no reason to be.  Whatever, I fold.

    
      It's the design of the MMO's that causing less interaction. If a MMO don't make people unite against a common enemy as a all out open PVP MMO does then people tend to be like cats and keep to themselves to get things done.

      Also there are a lot of established guild communities that move from MMO to MMO and are somewhat anti social. If you are recruited by the odd friendly officer in these guilds you often end up dealing with players that have attitudes that your below them because you happen to be a greenhorn to their community. You say hi guild chat when you first log in and only get a one or two replies, a long time member logs in not long after says hi then get a flood of hellos. I'm sure many of you have experience this anti social side to many established guilds who go from MMO to MMO.

  • No, I'll not be returning to the game as I find its core design lacking, and Its PVP starts to feel like ground hog day, and its to slow and clicky for a MMO released in 2008.
