    • Graphical AID? Can I install two graphics cards?

Hate to ruin the awesome but that pic is 'shopped. The Neocom toolbar is always on the far edge (left or right). Unless I'm mistaking and there is some hidden option I don't know about.

If you configure the drivers properly you should be able to span EVE across monitors connected to the same gfx card or across multiple cards if using SLI/Crossfire.

Just be aware that if using only two monitors the capacitor console will be split in the middle. There is no way to move it.. yet.

      EVE Online
    • Eve Online and Linux...
    • To get EVE working under Linux you have 2 decent options: the Official client based on Cedega, or Wine.

Wine is usually considered superior for those who know how to set it up. However, since it is not officially supported any patch to Wine or EVE could cause it to break, as has happened several times in the past. You will then have to wait for a fix to be committed to Wine or switch to the Official client.

With the Official client, you have the benefit of true support and of course all EVE patches are tested in the Linux version before being deployed. However, performance isn't as good as Wine and it has a few simple non-graphical flaws (like no clip board support) at the moment and does not support Premium graphics.

In the end I recommend Wine if you don't mind looking up a few guides to get it working. Its actually not as hard as you might think.

    • Steam trial code
    • Just start the download, then cancel it as soon as you can write down the trial code.

If you already activated a Steam EVE Trial and are just trying to get an other code, don't bother. I believe it will only give you one unique code per account so the new one will be the same.

    • The Escapist has always supported EVE. They have run full page ads since soon after the website started. Also many of their magazine stories have featured EVE (most penned by Jim Rossignol, who is probably the biggest eve fanatic in the journalism industry.) The trailers are just the next step I guess since they now have major video content.

      Oh and Yahtzee = Win
