Edit: Anyone who believes this guy actually played Wotlk and knows what he's talking about, please... lol, supposedly his guild cleared all the raid content in a week or so yet he won't name them nor his characters. He's been condemning Wotlk PvP mechanics from the start yet doesn't seem to realize his 74 character (last time he did that) isn't even *able* to experience the new PvP Wotlk offers ... rofl.

At least he's trying though :p

      Haha awesome!  =)

Honestly Greyhoff is a WAR fanboi spindoctor.

He hasn't seen anything and the fact, when he talked about challenges, saying "his guild did this and that, when it was hard", just shows how easier it makes us to know what we already knew, that he was talking crap out of his bloody arse.

Seriously, when it comes to tough as hell encounters, it's got to be, good old MC, BWL, AQ40, and old naxx.

I am sure Blizzard will up the challenge margin according to those a little but then again, blizzard wants most, if not everyone, to experience end game, so sadly it has to be by cutting off our "hardcore" limb.

The best pve guilds are still up there so really, those who got the team coordination will still be ahead of the others, though Mr. spindoctor Greyhoof might tell us he's a true genius, we'll most likely laugh at that claim.

I, myself am playing WotLK and love it, hard to think of it's been 8 months since i last played the game but it feels new at many points, and yet familiar, the most important thing being, still quality entertainment above all.  No other mmorpgs can, nor ever will, reach Wotlk, unless they really pull themselves together, and lets face it, Mythic didn't pull them selves together, else they wouldn't have released already, they would have waited till they had more of the the content.

But they just thought of something old, and now useless, claim, blizzard did the same thing, 4 years ago, yes perhaps they did but their game at the time had the most polished mmorpg in history and had loads of content, 4 years later they were a massive hulk of content and pretty much getting there to have put all what once was on the "to do list".  They pull off, what was okay 4 years ago, their game would have challenged wow, 4 years ago but not today.....

Today WoW stands victorious once again, because none of it's enemies comes prepared, they all RUSH... when they should be patient and grow some wisdom before attacked the slumbering titan.

WAR is dead,  you never get a second chance for first impressions, thus AoC is dead as well, even though it has improved but it should first have been released now, but they failed to listen at wisdom, they were too eager and now lie dead at the feet of the mountain.

Conan faced off with Cromm and died a horrible death.  Order and Chaos got iced by the massive Blizzard, the massive twillight zone, the undying legion.

Only left contestant, Aion, who didn't rush, who watched as AoC and WAR, eagerly tried to face off with the impossible as none of them knew how to fight their enemy.

Lets see how it all fairs.... boy did i write much, too much.

    • Trying out WOTLK and already bored

I have to say, I'm already bored - it's the same thing as I did in TBC and quite frankly the graphics are terrible, blocky and the armors look awful (it doesn't help that I'm a human and the human models are blocky and ugly)

The quests are the same old stuff, and although there's some cutscene bits, it's the same gather xp by doing pointless stuff that I've seen before. There's no decent PVP, and I miss the tactics and immediate PVP from Warhammer, where I levelled by doing a rotation of scenarios while questing and doing PQ stages.

I'll continue to 80 and farm Naxx 25man, Malygos and Sart with my old guild for a bit. They've already killed every boss in the game and I'll just pick up the epics when I get there, but for now I find the expansion to be a boring, easy and soulless cash-cow.

No, you didn't buy Wrath, and no you don't know jack about it, you're just saing you bought it to say crap like this.

The GFX in northrend is far superior to Warhammer in EVERY single way, it isn't blocky at all, what maschine are you playing on? a Commandore 64?

I've seen loads of fun reference quest, not to mention the special lore quests with special events, you are utterly full of bs, i've seen so many funny reference quests to movies and characters from 70-72, more than vanilla wow and TBC combined.

"I miss the tactics and immediate PVP from Warhammer"

Haha, oh dear god, are you serious?  Warhammer was a bloody dumbed down version of WoW and in the "tactic", it was zerg, zerg, and bigger zerg, all about numbers and no tactics.

I am enjoying  WoW once again, after 8 months not playing it, and i can without a doubt say that you aren't one of the people playing the game, else you would have told things differently, at least told something that actual would sound like you played it.

Sorry but many celebs who you wouldn't think of playing WoW, does play it.

It's a mmorpg where both the cheerleader, the quarterback, and the geeky IT boy, could be playing together, without knowing, WoW is a social hub.

here's a nice link if you are interested in how many celebs actually play wow.  forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html

    • Account hacked 4 times, please..any advice?
    • how do we know this one not also might be hacked?  xD

But honestly, last option,  format your (your friend's that is, all "your is directed at whom it might be) main drive, reinstall everything while not connected to a network, have the latest anti virus version ready on a cd or something, install it run test, shouldn't find anything since you formatted the damn computer hehe, now you are safe from scratch now you can reinstall WoW and what not again.

Now make your pass hard as hell and be careful what you click on and visit from now on. But it's most likely malware on your/his comp.

In the end tell your friend to stop downloading pron and visiting fancy places, unless he's well protected by firewalls and anti virus programs.

    • WOTLK Is Amazing
    • so much hate... WotLK is nothing but great, i love the new lore system, the Death knight is very well made, maybe too good hehe but very fun nevertheless.

Northrend is beautiful place and it really is something else.

I can't even fathom how some people say some other mmorpg might be better, WoW has no equal, it didn't get the massive subs through luck, it got it because it was the best around, no it's not mc. donald so stop it already, i know you haters have some problems,s ince you can't stand wow for some reason and have to go to these forums, even though you don't play the game and spout nonsense.

blizzard has done it, we will very soon see a 12 mill subs announcement.

At least that is a qualified guess, since all the servers have massive queues now... argh....
