I remember before they announced on there site about beta they had only about 60-70k members on there site after the announcment that number grew like fire and continues to grow thats without heavy advertising its all been from word of mouth pretty much. Aside from that many of its followers have been following it for way over a year. Thats pretty impressive in my opinoin.

    Darkfall found its niche before it even went into beta. All the mmos out right now are cookie cutters or they just suck. There hasn't been a really great sand box type mmo since UO. UO has been way outdated and there is still a decent size of players that play freeshards that mimic old UO.

    
     

    Dude most of those are abandon members. I have a membership as well and I haven't even thought about going there in years. 200k but only maybe 25k active.

    40k registered in August, 200k registered now.

     

    Yup, they're all just ancient accounts no one uses.

  •  Funny, you know just how many are in beta huh? Well I'd like to know how you found that out... 

     

     

    And no, Age of Conan is still the biggest joke in the industry, followed by Mortal Online.
