    Yeah, but I can't really justify spending 25$ on a character I'll never play, just in order to make a Death Knight to play with my friends.

  • Well that sucks, I was thinking about coming back to WoW to play as a Death Knight on a server with my friend.  I don't really feel like leveling something up to high levels again.

     

    Oh well guess it wasn't meant to be.

  • I understand that you need to be 55 in order to create a Death Knight.  But does it have to be on the same realm, or just have a character above 55 on your account?

    I post about the game because im just interested in it. I don't play huge hours per week like I did in games 7-10 yrs back. I appreciate the time that I do play because it's an escape for me when I get home from work. I work for my ISP in a pretty challenging role. Some of the reasons I appreciate the game are; Fan of the history of Conan, fan of the art direction and atmosphere of the game, appreciate the friendliness on the servers I play on. I also emigrated 2 yrs ago to Canada from the UK, (difficult process) I play the game with some friends back in the UK who brought US versions as a way of keeping in contact too. I am just a normal guy who plays the game because more things are appealing to me than those that aren't. I don't get any compensation from FC, I like to talk about the game more than talk about US politics or plenty of other subjects. Take this thread for example it's pretty interesting to see trends as they go along (both good and bad)

    I think its interesting to put the "info" out there and see where the conversation goes. If you notice a lot of threads that I make just start with whats been said, usually later on I put an opinion in a bit more detail.

    Many people take the time out to do things they enjoy. If I got paid for doing the things I enjoy then thas a perfect job right? I am happy where I am though. On a side note, did you know that Tarib the Community Manager EU used to run his Conan website as a fan before being employed and then promoted up :)

     

    Fair enough, thanks for the information...although a simple yes or no would have sufficed.  Interesting read for the most part anyway, I also agree with.  It's just most of your stuff reads like it was posted by a bot, so I was curious if you got compensated, because a lot of it also seems slanted heavily in favour of them.  Sort of like when you see a Mythic Employee post on VN about some upcoming thing.
