    • What am I doing wrong?
    •  Well your main problem is mining, first 2 times I tryed eve I started mining ... wich turned me away quick.I suggest try to do something that is you like to do,like pvp for exemple,if pvp isnt for you I can only suggest to join a corp and do missions togheter.

It's realy hard being a first timer in EVE,the tutorial barerly scratches the basics, feel free to ask questions to anyone aslong as they arent answered in the tutorial, you will usualy get a decent response.

My suggestion is join a noob friendly corp,PVE or PVP or both and ask around what you can do ,group with people etc.Tho you can work your way up solo in EVE,you will never be able to soar to great heights alone, socialize etc.

P.S Does EVE radio still play crap songs ? ... havent tuned in for almost 2 years ... when they were still playing Go Go ...

    • I give bad reviews...
    •  Joining a player corp isnt always a good idea, take into account:

1.Their requirments,I seriously advise not joining 0.0 corps/alliances (based not working in 0.0 and stationed in empire/low sec),you will end up being cannon fodder and fleet battles do tend to get tedious sometimes.

2.They have active members in your time zone.

3.They have friendly and helpfull people.

Personaly, when I started EVE,first I mined and did missions, after awhile ,I decided to start my life as a pirate, some success, some misfires, made quite afew enemys out of the people ive killed but surpringly made alot more friends ,either from the ones that went boom, the ones that popped me or the ones hunting around constellation for targets just like me.

Key in EVE is to be smart and witty,if someone who blew you up starts gloating, just end it "Good job, maibe il have more luck next time" ... not "omfg nub,i pwn u wit super titan alt!",same goes around, you blow someone's ship up,be polite and witty.

You WILL get alot of angry hate from some people but just ignore them, and never ever give in to the sob storys: "I dont have money for a new ship" or "that was my only ship" ,reply to them "Nr.1 Rule in EVE: never fly what you cant afford to replace".
