    There are SO many erronious assumptions in that statement.

     

    1 - Why would I - as an average gamer - have access to inside resources that can prove, or disprove, a closed beta?

    2 - Why would I - as an average gamer - care? Every mmo game out there goes though a closed beta. My Care-o-meter doesn't even twitch until the game releases. As an average gamer, i just take the develoepr claims at face value and pretty much just ignore the game until it comes out.

    3 - Why would I - as an average gamer - need to prove that Darkfall is having closed beta? If the developers claim that they are having one, then fine. I'll try to care about the development history of the game after it releases and I'm playing it.

    The real question is ... why do you care enough to claim that the beta is fake?

     

     

     

    About AoC. It sold well because all the stupid fanbois bought into the hype and pre-ordered. Then us average gamers got sucked in because all the reviews were "OMGZ!!! TH1S G$M£ 1S T£H %H!T!!!!! -  11/10!"

    Frankly, I'll put it very simply.  I've explained why things seem shady on Aventurine's end.  And you'vePproven once again that you're unable to garnish any proof of a beta.  You've argued over nothing { Mod Edit }.

    To any other gamer Darkfall's closed beta is just like any other. ie - Ignore until free trial or release.

    Here, people (both fanbois and trolls) actually bother to argue over whether or not the closed beta is fake.

    WHO CARES?!?

    To an average gamer, a game is either Released or Not Released with no inbetween. Darkfall is obviously in the "Not Released" catagory here, so it doesn't deserve the huge ammounts of time that the fanbois and troll-tards have devoted to it in debating every minor or inconcequential thing.

     

    And yet they do.

    AoC had a lot of closed beta testers. We have no idea how many Aventurine has. I know two testers and have seen just a couple of (really minor) leaks (which makes me think their numbers are fairly small) but the important thing is ... WHO CARES?

    The only people who care are the fanbois and the trolls. What's the point of speculating? The game isn't worth all the attention the fanbois and vapor-tards are giving it until after the game releases.

    Point to me where one bad comment was made by a tester of this game....Oh yea NDA . and i say again some don't have an NDA period. They let the people debate the progress of the game openly and make changes to the game as the CBT's progress. This fact alone makes me very worried about the progress of this game.

    sorry but I can't love a game on just blind faith.

     

    Like i said before, you're describing an Open Beta.

     

    In a Closed Beta the developers keep a tight lid on info getting out. Look at AoC's closed beta. That was anal.
