  • i have a solution if you dont want to pay for a main and alt account.. Buy isk.. lol.. most places you can buy 1 billion for under $30USD. then buy 2x60 day GTC, one for main, and one for alt.. you now can play both, train both, and all for under the price of CCP's listed monthly cost.. sure it is against their rules... but if they can make and change rules and guidelines as they see fit, aswell already allowing for purchases with isk.. i say why not.

I doubt it will pull in many of the original star wars fan gamers who were Star wars crazy way before generation Y were even born. I got a feeling Mr Lucas will be making sure this game caters to generation Y. He is after all behind the NGE in an attempt to chase the sub number of WOW using the Star Wars IP.     kinda funny right before i read this post i was saying to my friend.. "this almost feels like, LA's attempt #2 at perfecting the NGE to get all the kids who want a lightsabre"... lol.

     

     I have high hopes for this game, but I can see now it will just be a bunch of jedi everywhere....

  • I am down to 5 days on my 14 day trial of LOTRO, and I have to say I enjoy it very much.

     There are alot of quests.. i mean alot.. i have had plenty turn grey on me because i just outleveled them before i got to them, due to so many quests being multi part. I am only level 18, and still enjoying it.

    aswell pvp (i am not really one for it but...) at level 10 you unlock monster play, which is kinda neat as you get to play on the evil side, as a lvl 50 i believe. try it out atleast!

     

     another thing that blew me away was the music abilities.. to play music that is, i came into bree town one day and 2 hobbits were sitting playing (guitar and drum) Santana - black magic woman.. that just amazed me and forced me to lose a day of play time just figuring out how to do it myself...lol.

     

     I really say try it. atleast get the 14 day trial, if you like it you can do a full purchase with 1 month free i think for 19.99USD.

  • Yeah I am hoping to get one of the redraw tickets, since I currently am not playing any MMO's, since none that are out interest me much. Though I think chances are I wont be getting one unless I luck out and get one from SGW themselves at this point.

     

     22 pending spots still.. come on guys.. forget accepting.. i need one!! lol
