    I have spent hours reading the forums and cant seem to figure it out.  I have "select char" selected and am using a Nvidia 8800GT card that is up to date.  I downloaded DX9 and installed.
    Did they ever find a fix for the 8800 cards?
     
    Please help I cant believe that after all this time they have not fixed this!

    Am wondering are you forcing AA in the nvidia control panel, if so dont force AA while playing vanguard at times it works and at times it dosent Ive forced AA and had it work and other times ive tryed to force it and it did exactly what your saying

     hmmm.. right its not Sigils fault for making a buggy, rushed out the door game, its Nvidia's divers fault, LoL.
    Now I'm not toatally up to date on the state of the game i admit, but there have been known issues with Vanguard and the 8800 series since the game was released. (Yes, yes i know it was Nvidia's fault for not making their drivers revolve around VG's crappy programming) So saying VG has no issues with the 8800 series card is a bit hard to believe.
       Rather I'm guessing having put up with VG's bugs for so long you've just gotten used to them. Some peoples tolerance for bug's are  higher then others

    Listen when the 88oo's first came out they had very shitty support for Dx 9 games ,you think i only crashed playing vanguard lol. I bought my 8800 GTX in the first week they hit the market even though my 2 friends that run thier own computer store and have been building custom computers for 2o years told me not to, that i was going to have nothing but problems and guess what they where right.
    Vanguards bugs are pretty minor , its not a question of how much tolerance people have but how big of whining babies they are. Yes winter your right vanguards the only game ive ever played that ive seen bugs in lol

  • Well ive been playing vanguard sence day 1 with every setting maxed at 1920x1200 and i tried EQ2 for about a month with the 4 free months that sony was kind enough to give me
    All tell you one thing vanguard runs 10 times better than EQ2 i couldnt play EQ2 with every setting maxed thats the only game ive tryed that actually lagged out my computer not even vanguard when it first launched was that bad at every setting maxed
    It was fun to just look around EQ2 because it is an interesting place with good graphic's but for me vanguard rules all mmo's hands down.
