Latest Blog Entry - Better outfits for Males?
From my blog I Have a Dream [vajuras]

Maybe its the little artist inside of me but I always find the armor pieces for females more appealing. Anyone with me? In most games I find myself making a female character. Not because I want to get free gifts when ever asked I always tell them I'm a guy.

Take City of Heroes. That was okay even though I still thought the female avatars got more costume options. So I made both sexes

In saga of ryzom I face a serious dilemma. I want to play the male but looking at most of the costume pieces the female options appear more cool too me. Grr, but I rather roleplay a guy

And look at WAR and/or World of Warcraft. This is the clincher. If you play a Shaman / Mage / Clothie they make you wear a dress. If I'm gonna have to wear a dress I'd rather make a female. I guess maybe World of Warcraft finally added on Mail armor for characters but grrrr why are you forcing Men to wear dresses?

EQ2 did this too to my L18 Wizard. So I rerolled as a Male Scout

I look at Spellborn and other titles where they let ya wear anything you want I think that's cool. I guess I prefer this vastly but I know Achiever types love to show off their armor so very few games will give us this freedom my guess. Sigh.....

    • Should Jedi be a starter class in KotOR MMO?

Ofcourse Jedi is a starter profession in KOTOR. Being a Jedi a lifelong task, not something you begin at 25 after killing some NPCs.

The Padawans are abour ten years old, so you wanna begin to play a character at that age? No you wont. That means you will begin  as a Jedi.

And dont even think about joining the Sith. The Jedis may take any retard to edjucation, but the Sith wont. I think there go 10k Jedis to one Sith, maybe even more.

      Thats how Luke did it!

Oh well. If Jedi has to be in game as playable then maybe unlock it with some quests or something but do not make them any better than any other combat class.

Every class is viable under KOTR system you could interchange them freely with other party members in the RPG. And Jedi regularly were killed by robots, mandalorians, various beasts that hunt the force, bounty hunters, etc

    • Should Jedi be a starter class in KotOR MMO?
    • Luke skywalker, as we all know, was a rare fringe case. In the Old Republic timeline Jedi are abundant because as indicated by the movies clearly, they are all recruited as youth.

It would make no sense in their Lore to have thousands of players that suddenly  become eligible to play Jedi. Jedi code is strict when it deals with Emotion. Grown ups have deep attachments to their parents and their 'future' tends to be cloudy (due to dark side influence).

It would darn near Lore breaking to have thousands of players grind to some level and become a Jedi

*SPOILER* People that think KOTR 1 is any different needs to beat the game. I think Aelfinn posted the spoiler though

For females - I reckon Zorai female in Matis high-quality caster gear can't be beat. Very regal looking.

But I think males get better heavy armour and you can achieve some good looks mixing up caster gear from different races, eg. try Matis high-quality caster gear, but with Trykker vest and Zorai sleeves.

Hey thanks all and forgot to say thanks for this link. But I think there are a lot of sets not in there? I look at Gilgameesh avatar picture (he posts here) the armor on his tryker looks really sick. Hope I can get that for my Matis male
