| Biography | Just another vagrant living at the edge of reason, and thus demanding more out of existence than a roof, three meals a day, and a 401k. The wilderness never looked so lonely, and the stakes never appeared so high, but I will scale this cliff nonetheless. |

I haven't played EQ2 since it first was released... How many expansions must I buy to be up to date now that I plan on restarting my account? What are their names and their release dates?
What was the latest expansion? All I have is the original Guild Wars, and the Factions Expansion. How many more expansions do I have to buy to be back up to date. I have been recently disbarred as a Patency Lawyer for reason of mental illness (with a horribly nice pension to use up) and would like to make up for all that lost time ingame, and get all pertenant expansions so that I can play the game in its full splendor.
Please tell the purple elephants that the bear nuts have all been eaten... and then help me get to lvl 20.
I am so glad I am not addicted to this game anymore... But I do have fantastic memories involving it. I know this may seem like a non sequitur with respect to the previous comments, and a bit off topic to boot... Although, I want it to be recognized that I am there for you if you want to quit... but if you don't want to quit, be the absolute best nerf-herder you can be. Like Guild Wars... It is another one of those games for people who are not into the traditional MMO experience: large expansive worlds, in depth job customization, PVP, and meticulously engineered environments with detailed content. There is grind in the game, but it is the kind of grind which is reminiscent of classic Atari console titles like Swordquest . In some ways, the game was dated before it was even created... In others, it gives some of us a non-addictive game to pick up from time to time... Us people who like to put others under the illusion that we still have a life.
Hi... I have been out of the game now for quite a few years, and I was just trying to look online to find out how many expansions I need to buy in order to be current in the game. I know "Wrath of the Lich King" is coming out soon, but what are the other expansions I need to buy, and what year and month were they released. Blizzard hasn't released a new software upgrade every year for this game like Guild Wars or FFXI does... Do they? Just curious... Please set me straight.
