The so-called '11 million' subscribers have voted with their wallets.
The end is nigh - hopefully the MMO market can start to move forwards again, instead of backwards.
/facepalm.
Games that just lost 75% of their subscribers don't add new servers because the ones they have are overfilled. Your crystal ball is cracked.

He's had like twenty accounts here by now, banning wont do any good and IP ban is just as easy to go around.
But how we can solve the problem then ?
i mean threads like "Hey Originalegg, can i be in your group?" ....we don't have to tolerate this ...
Something must be done about .
We don't solve "the problem". This isn't a crappy tv show. You don't get to vote people off the island because you don't like them. If the staff think something need to be done they'll do it. WTF does this have to do with Darkfall again?
The siege of darkfall day 173654263756353 the wait continues.
Not much new info there. Aparently the AI isn't completely stupid, that's a big improvement right there. Just have to wait for more info to come out.

The forums and the game are actually covered by the same set of rules (altho obviously you most likely won't see people running 3rd party programs to post faster... ).
Legal?
The consumer has the option to do a charge back and not pay. Then of course the account will be banned. However, it is an option as a consumer.
The boards are private and belong to blizzard just as the game servers. When you add:
"they got a message that they had too many warnings/Suspensions on the forums and the latest suspension included an inability to log in to the game while suspended from the forums."
So obviously this isn't an issue they just developed. They have an ongoing history of violating the forum rules...
Maybe they should have stopped after a few warnings and/or suspensions?
I mean one has to *ponder* wtf the problem is exactly... it doesn't seem to be on Blizzard's end.
Yeah I know they should have stopped, but Blizzard has a history of letting Trolling on the forums slide... it just seems to to be the further Homogenizing of Blizzard, WoW has gotten easy cheesy..anything slightly offensve is quickly removed SC2 and D III has these bright cheery graphics. I may be wrong but it looks to me like Craptivision is calling all the shots now, and Blizzard that we knew is long gone.
The things you're referring to happened long before the Activision merger. Blizzard just happens to be in the position where they don't need to coddle asshats to keep their subscription numbers up. The crackdown is long overdue. Banning people from forums is a execise in futility. Banning people from a game gets their attention.

To quote one of the mmorpg.com staffers..
Posting opinions is not trolling.
And to quote the MMORPG.com rules;
Trolling = Posting excessive negative comments...
Besides, perhaps Aventurine don't interview MMORPG.com because it's a horrible, horrible website ran by petty-minded biased cretins? Hell, I don't know if it really counts as a website, it's more like a massive pop-up ad with some MMO news and crap forums tacked on.
Some of the people who post here might be petty minded cretins but it's not run by them. If you don't like the site another is just a click away.......
What characteristics of an MMORPG do you look at most?
